Well i have caved and decided to start a diary on here. Look's like i will be ttc for some time i guess.
Me and oh have been trying for 10 months, soon to be 11 months if this spotting continues and turns into the

I'm very lucky as i have 3 kids already, daughter 19, son 12 and youngest daughter 6. I love my kids to bit's and feel very lucky to have them, both my girls were prem babies ...my son didnt want to come out, i was induced when he was 2 weeks late...typical man, always late!! Had a fairly early mc before my eldest daughter was conceived and a later one just before i conceived my son.

Never had problems conceiving in the past but i'm older now and my eggs must be rotten or something

Anyway...I still dont feel my family is complete. I split from my ex some time ago, fell in love with my oh and here we are! I'm 40 oh is my toyboy and much younger than me. We were friends for around 5 years before we got together. Hes my best friend still and my soulmate, we never row..well sometimes..only over footie, hes a manc and supports man u, im an arsenal fan!

I'm now waiting for af to show properly as we speak so i can just get on with next month. I have a feeling she will be in full swing tomoz as my cramps are awful. Ahh the joys of being a woman!

Im off to see my gp this month and get some bloods done to see if there might be a problem. I should have gone after 6 months of trying but i really wanted to give it a good try before i went.
I'm not too down about it though, after all this time i don't really expect to get pregnant, well i know it hasn't been a lifetime but it feels like it sometimes.
Still i think it might happen sometime in the future, we just have to keep trying! That's not such a bad thing.
I remember when we hit the 3 month mark of trying i got really pissed off that it hadn't happened as soon as i thought it would. I was totally gutted. I decided at the time it was pointless but after a few shit weeks we carried on. I'm glad we did.
I hate giving up on something and we will do everything we can to have our baby

Cramps have eased abit since this morning, but maybe thats due to the amount of painkillers i have downed today
I went for a walk through the village tonight, oddly enough it seemed to help. My usual state is curled up on the sofa with a hot water bottle whining like an old bat

The thing that gets me is before i was ttc i was on the mini pill, every month my af was bliss..no pain, light bleeding for a few days.
Since coming off i have pms from hell, i bleed like i'm dying lol and the pain is totally unbearable. I said to OH we have to make a baby sooooon so i can get back on the damn thing again. No more pain Wheyhey!! Bring it on
I really did forget how bad being off the pill was, seriously i would much rather give birth than have pms. (if only)

Gawd i'm so full of the joys of spring huh? lol

im fairly new too, only just added my own TTC Journal yesterday (after 8 months of trying, thought i might be in for a long haul too!) i spose i just kind of thought it would happen quickly, but i've accepted now that def aint that case! lol

Even though the kids are off for 2 weeks easter holidays Trying to find things to keep dd occupied so we are gonna make some rice crispy cake's later. She is making patterns out of cotton wool tips and sticking them together with tape atm..gonna have none left soon She made a bird out of card earlier and it was very impressive, she named it Tina and pretended it could talk. Then it apparantly pecked her so she ripped it up

Af seems to be easing off. I had a few odd cycles lately and af has only lasted 4 days instead of the usual 6-7. Wonder why???...not that i mind of course! lol

By the way, you do not have rotten eggs..!!! Watch out, here comes my rant of the day: I honestly take deep offence to the scaremongering of the media. Personally. The suggestion that women who are trying for children later on are deluded about they're own fertility etc...

If that was true then the statistics prove otherwise as apparently women in their 40's have as many abortions as women in their 20's. Well- enough said!!

Also wanted to add that always had af for 7-8 days..once i got on bcp it changed to 3-4..oh, bliss! after coming off them nearly 2 years ago its stayed that short. Of course, now after my mc i have no idea what to expect..i hope for the best..for me and for us all!!!

I generally don't listen to statistics much anyway..oh and my practice nurse also said that the older we get the more eggs we release..sometimes 2 or more a month..so even if i do have the odd shit one there are bound to be some decent ones in there somewhere My practice nurse is such a sweetheart, she is so supportive of *cough* older ladies. I hate being called fecking old..i'm sooo not old, i still feel 18 ffs!!

Anyhooo ...I'm having one of those day's today. I would forget my head if it wasn't screwed on
Well af is easing up, actually it's almost stopped which is strange..3rd month in a row now.
I have walked miles today..i recon at least 10 and im fooked! My bank happens to be miles away from where i live and no buses travel there as it's a small village..bah!! I made a huge mistake at the bank and ended up having to go back again..so double miles lol. I need to buy a car!!

DD is visiting grandparents today, she's back later, then she is off round there again tomoz until sunday..peace and quiet lol.
She made a batch of rice crispies cake thingys again this morning with OH. I wonder when she will get bored of them..

Anyhoo I'm gonna chill out tonight, bath, go to bed early and watch a movie in bed. It's good friday tomoz isn't it?? Does that mean if i'm very good i can eat my eggs early?
