I wasn't planning on updating yet but what the heck, why not?

Right now Missouri is flooded to heck and I can't go almost anywhere. The rivers are up over the bridges and I live right by both the Missouri River and a few smaller rivers and creeks a s well. Last night we went to my BIL's birthday party and went bowling, and most of the roads on the way were shut down. I guess we are lucky our place isn't closer to the rivers. A ton of houses are underwater or just have the roof sticking out. It is really sad. The president had us as a "disaster area" and that makes it sound like we all evacuated or dead.

We are fine here, and my family is fine, but a ton of people are put out of their homes until the water recedes.

And with TTC we are BDing every other night like usual, we like to cover all of our bases. It is going to be nice to have the day together tomorrow to just spend alone, no friends and no family to interrupt. Unfortunately today is Easter and OH still had to work. Open to close....I will see him later, much later.

I like to update a lot so I am gonna do it again!

I am getting into the fun part of the cycle so we are baby dancing like nuts. Before we went out with our friends last night we had to do the deed. And it is a good thing we did because everyone at the party followed us home until 4am. OH is excited again, I think he just likes to do the deed a lot.

I don't get out much so I sit at home reading the NINE new pregnancy books OH bought me. He knows I like to read and I want a baby so he decided to combine the two passions! He is so sweet.

Well I am thinking positive and trying to figure out how to kill time so I guess that means I am ready to BD tonight when OH gets in from work.

We are taking a good long look at our plans of telling people if we get our BFP. We will NOT tell my mother first again, because last time she told everyone else before I could, and I was really hurt. We are thinking about waiting until the third month to tell anyone but I am not sure that would technically be "out of the danger zone" because I mc between 16 and 18 weeks last time, and I know we couldn't wait that long.

We are hoping to be pregnant by my 22 birthday (June 20) because that would make a great present for me. But I am afraid of getting pg around the same time as last time, I don't think I could handle being due at the same time as I was supposed to be with Gabryel. I know it will be hard enough getting through the anniversaries of his delivery and due date, how could I cope with hitting the milestones at the same time as with my MC?

Well I better go before this becomes unbearably long. I want someone to read it, not look at it and say she's nuts and just run away...

Great journal lovely. It really sounds you are getting something out of doing yours. I started mine but have come to a sudden halt as I also do Mycycle and have a 'monthly' spreadsheet. Bit of a ttc overload.

Nic, i like it when people post long posts.. (makes me feel less like a nutter, too, lol!! since i never seem to be able to shut up..ask OH )

I hope you get preggers before you birthday, too. It defenitely would be a great pressie

Also, try not to worry about the dates, sweetie.. when you do get pg next time you you will feel blessed no matter what and im sure Gabryel will be like a guardian angel for him/her and guide you all through it.. (sorry if im sticking my big gob in where it doesnt belong by the way..feel free to tell me to shut up. It's just a way ive decided to look at and maybe it'll work for you.. *hug*)

And thank god you are safe where you are... at least you are free to do all the bd'ing you want without worry.. Good luck, hun! Hope you get a sticky bean this cycle!!! xxx

Your OH sound's like mine...It's rather good as he never turn's down the chance to bd. In fact he suggest's it..constantly lol
Kinda cool when we are ttc but if i ever manage to conceive i shall have to beat him off me
I so hope you get pg before your birthday, i do agree with Omi though and i'm sure you will feel blessed when it happen's
I also had a very late mc but a few month's later i got pg again and went on to carry my son full term..plus an extra 2 week's. He didn't want to come out!
I have also had an early mc and got pg the same month as my d+c and had my daughter.
Every pregnancy is different and i so hope it happens for you soon. I hope you get a big fat very sticky one soon xxx

I got the cutest idea last night. I was trying to sleep and like always my mind was on my cycle and babies, so I started thinking about how we would tell people when we get pg....

....I decided to tell OH through a scavenger hunt. I have written out notes on index cards to place around the house....he will start with one clue and to find the next one he must figure it out, and of course I want him to figure it our so they are too simple...

The first he would get when he stated to come in from work. It would lead him to open his favorite movie case.

The second would lead him to open the refrigerator.

the third under the kitchen sink.

The fourth would tell him to check his email.

And then I would have sent him a message that says "turn around" and I would have the HPT in a small box for him to open.


I think that is too cute, last time I got to tell him I was pregnant I took the test right down the hall from the bedroom, and I was so shocked I forgot the way back to our room, and his sister found me crying in the hallway. (we were staying with his family at the time) and then we BOTH had to go to work ten minutes later (and we worked together) On top of that I had only been out of the hospital for three days and I was still feeling quite bad.

Can you see why I would want something a little better the second time?
He is so ready to be a Daddy. I am so ready to stop planning days to have sex. I want spontaneity instead of sex every other day through the whole cycle...it makes my naughty bits tender.

Aw, Nic i think its lovely.. the scavenger hunt..it'll appeal to a man for sure, lol! I just have no patience will have to tell right away or will burst..but you have got me thinking... i could plan this thing.,.hmmm good idea!
