Hello there, why aren't you sitting in the park enjoying this sunshine?! Like I am (not!!) See, September is always a lovely month and this day in particular is nice! Can't believe it's been six years! Sorry, I'm off on a daydream again. Glad you liked my bolero, the girls had bolero jackets so mine tied in with theirs. I will tell you the story behind that at a later date! I so know what you mean about this time last year. One of my friends (in fact one of my bridesmaid's) got married on our anniversary last year and we had only been ttc about 3 months and everything was great. We thought 'it could take a year or so but really that's the worse case scenario and we'll be pregnant long before that' was our general feeling I think. I remember my boobs were so huge at the end of that wedding I was convinced we had done it within three months. But no, I reckon it was just the ceilidhing in a strapless bra that done it!!! God, it seems like a lifetime ago, so innocent! But no, you have to be positive, believe that it will happen, that it will happen when the time is right. And it will won't it my dear positive friend?! You and I are gonna fall pregnant at Christmas and this time next year we'll have two gorgeous babas. You'll have a little boy and I'll have a little girl (gender selection is according to Miel's blankie!!)

Have a great Sunday missy. I'm off soon to continue on my hunt for 50 things golden for my grandparents hamper thing and then I'm off to my mum's for Roast Pork. Sorry Omi but Sunday is just the best day of the week!!!!

Yes, we will get pg very soon. And nooooooooooo! I dont want a boy i want a girl. Can we swap? (ok, ill take whatever god gives me but if i can put in a request- Girl please??? Lol) I take the colour selection as , well blue is my fave colour- so there! Lol!!!

And yes, september is such a lovely month, i agree. Loads of lovely people have b-days this month..you know who you are, lol...and OH's b-day was last week as well. My due date was the 11 and i really loved the idea of a september baby....but as said, ill take whatever i get, thank you very much

yeah, i have mentioned this twin business to oh and he was like !! Ive had to play it down as highly unlikely, as it is..but i think he'd definitely pass out from the shock if that was the case! LOL!

When went to doc and said i was pg he went through questions like 'any heart disease in the family?' 'any twins?' etc..and when i said no, not really. My mum's cousin did have twins..he said ' so thats a yes then!' LOL! Also being of my advanced age its more likely than when younger. Anyway, yes girls for us both!!!

Also, wanted to add..ive been in the pg journals and i just wanted to add to anyone preggers out there a) Im very very happy for you!! and b) please dont feel you cannot post in here- i love it when you do!

BUT- i, for perhaps understandable reasons, find it gets me depressed going in there...i know its silly. But i do. In fact i start feeling a it of a loser and its not good for my PMA..so please dont take it the wrong way! Having your friends getting pg is a lovely and joyous thing..but going into the journals is like being surrounded by 20 preggers women at the same time and it feels a bit overwhelming, to be honest.

So please accept my apologies and do not for a second think im not happy for you or dont wanna hear from you. Its just that ttc for a while now..im a bit fragile and cannot afford losing my PMA- afterall i need it to keep going, lol!!

Hi Omi,

Just wanted to pop by and see how you are doing. Sure eveyone understands the pg journal thing, happiness but it's hard too. We have twins in our family (my aunts), but know the chances are sooooo slim, but would be fab, hard work, but fab.

so weird i have being feeling fragile as well OMI...i don't know but seeing the pregnant tickers sometimes really hurt me (not the ladies who are pregnant ) just the tickers i see the weeks goes by on the PG tickers and i see the beans growing as well and i don't get it why it goes so fast for them and so long for us ...

Anyway i will predict you and Nic will have beautiful babies girls and i will have a boy as i really want a boy

Heya Omi! Hope you're still hanging onto that pma chick! I totally understand where you're coming from re pg journals - i never went in there myself apart from a couple of old buddies. It still feels a bit weird tbh. Just wanted to pop in though and give you a big hug and remind you that it happens at the oddest times and often when we have the least hope! PMA whatever! TTC is just plain hard - but you know you will get there in the end, and you'll forget this part!

I am already planning ahead my TTC strategy for no.3 (if beanie makes it all the way FX!!) - I am so used to being in TTC I feel comfy in here LOL! (Quick calculation - total time ttc so far 27 months, total time aware of being pg 31 weeks! )
