Hope you are having a ncie time in gay Paris! I thought I would pop in to say hi! I thought that I would give you some useless info...did you know that cat whiskers get in the way of them eating? Even though they are very useful to cats, they dont like having them as they get in the way of them eating! cute huh! WEll, thats my lil peice of info!

Hi Ladies, Im back!!!

I had the most amazing time in Paris and suffice it to say we want to move there, lol! (fat chance of that happening, ha, ha!!) But honest, it was magical. the hotel was lovely, the area was just so great and i have walked miles all across Paris and seen loads. the weather was fab and i have the heat-rash to prove it (lovely, eh!) Our hotel overlooked a postage stamp triangle park and we even warmed to our resident bums/clochards- who were very polite..except the time one of them, the one with no belt on his trousers (!), decided he needed to pee, and sitting on the ground ( they close the park over night) sat on the pavement took his *** out spread his legs apart and went to town... enough said.

I also only saw 4 cats the entire time i was there, so as oh pointed out, they must all be indoors there. I did see 2 lovely kitties in Montmarte cemetary (thanks Nicky!) and one in a gallery we went to- apparently he lives there- how parisien!!!

On the ttc front, i got af on day 2..it was expected but really annoying as it was quite heavy and not something you want to contend with when walking miles and having to search for toilets but it all went well in the end. I now have a very tidy 29 day cycle with a rather enviable, if i do say so myself lol, 13 day lp. Im all ready for the next bout of bd'ing and hoping all the prayers i said in Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur and St Denis will be heard by the powers that be!!

I dont expect anything to happen over night but i did have a nice reminder that although my birthday is only 7 months away, i could have a nice bump by then so its not all doom and gloom even if it doenst happen overnight.

We came home at 1am last night and the kitties were overjoyed to see us!!! Our catsitter has taken great! care of them and even wrote us a synopsis of the weeks activites inlcuding some funny stories and a caricature drawing, lol!

Its lovely to be back home although we miss paris..but we'll be back!!! I have tomorrow off as well and im going to call the doc for an appointment to ask to refer us so we can get on the waiting list as a back up- in the mean time im rearing to go..cbfm is on and its back on the ttc train!!!

So, my lovlies... do i hear a battlecry? Good PMA's? All ready, willing and able to try again this month???

Come on, my ttc godesses!! We can and will do it- who's with me??!!!

Glad you had a nice time and that the weather was good for you. Sounds like you had a nice break! I can only imagine what the toilets must be like there! Someone told me that they are holes in the ground kind of thing...you dont actually sit on them! And that some are outside? Or is that Greece? Cant remember!
Anyway, Im glad the kitties were ok and how cute you got a rundown on their antics while you were away! What a great catsitter! Maybe I will have to borrow him to sit my 2!
Well heres to a new month darl! Ive got my fingers crossed for you both!

Hello again,

im just about to call the doc for an appointment..God knows what he'll say when we show up... He's usually very nice and has been OH's doc for ages so i hope he'll see my point, that i need to get on the waiting list as a precaution. Im thinking it shouldnt be a problem since if i should 'score' on my own then happy days to me and the nhs, n'est pas?

By the way, Molly..caravan was my first option when looking for a holiday!!! Its just that couldnt find anything cheap up north and since we dont drive it would have cost us anyway.. then we found dirt cheap tickets to Paris and OH made an executive desicion since we havent had a holiday in 3 years...so off it was to gay paris!! I will say though, we read up on Paris and spoke to people who go there so knew what to expect pricewise so took precautions- like buying food and drinks in the supermarket and having picnics outside and drinks in the room with our french doors open overlooking the parisian rooftops- it could have been a lot worse, lol!!!

oh, and Marina, the toilets where fine actually..although last time i went (22 years ago!) i did come across a couple of those hole in the ground thingies..and no, they're not nice. Things seem to have changed greatly though (no offence Miel! )..and this is not just my observation as i met an irish lady who's lived in Paris for 25 years and she said the same thing- people just seemed more open and helped you in english (when the school french broke down horrendously, as it naturally did ,lol!!) It was lovely, lovely, lovely!!! they also have public toilets at evey corner- (with baby changing table as well!) so if you're desperate there is hope, lol!!

Anyway, off i go to enjoy my last day of freedom..back to work tomorrow..boooooo!


Oh, just called doc..have appointment for Thursday 14th August... Wish us luck!!
