Cr@p - how could I forget about CSI?!!! Omi, you can't be pregnant, pregnancy makes you forget your favourite programmes

If you look through my TTC journal just before I had my I started doing really weird things at 3 or 4 dpo (like cleaning the oven! not at all like me) and I was totally hyper one night quite early (i'm sure it was in the first half of the tww) convinced I was pregnant. Next night I was miserable and convinced I wasn't. I got my result at 10dpo on the new first response test. it says it's 98% effective at 2 days before your due.


It would be fantabulous if you were pg at the same time as me, we could chat about the QM midwifes!!!

Today cd 23...still the same... i know exactly what you mean, though..i try to be reasonable but at the same time its difficult to ignore the obvious.

OH is very exited and said he'd be delighted if im pg..in fact he suggested i get a test asap. he suggested i get the early first response one tomorrow after work so i can test tuesday morning

I did say to him though 'you're not gonna be terribly dissapointed are you?' and he said that he'd be dissapointed but he understands how these things works , so if bfn its onwards and upwards!!

In fact, he even asked if the way i feel is normal. I said ' for me? or when pg? 'For me? he asked. I said, nope..didnt have it last time i was pg, dont get like this before af and certainly dont feel like this 10 before af, but apparently its normal when pg..so cautiously optimistic so far

Crap. just remembered i have doc's apmt after work- cannot get test...bugger!

im losing the will to live.....have been cleaning all day..well, in between being on here, and im now getting disillusioned...im probably not pregnant after all..

wish i could just test and find out..cannot take the pressure!

I shall not test tomorrow as there's no point this early on, but GAWD, the wait is doing my head in...blah.

Gonna go hang up washing now- oh, what a glamorous life i lead, lol!

If you show up on Tuesday with a boots bag, I'l march you into the ladies and wait outside the door for a result even if it's not fmu!! It would be great to be so close - everything crossed for you hun.

I decided to go out for the day with my grandparents and I have dinner at my parents tonight so it should keep my mind of things at least a little. If there's anything more then I'll call EPAU. I've got the numbers in my phone and written down as well. Thanks hun xx

PS I did mention I went cleaning mad before my didn't I?

Glad you're having a nice and relaxing day..weather's not too bad either.. God, just remembered, you still have to keep schtum, dont you?? Geezo, i dont know how you do it, lol!! Well, done you!!!

Also, what you explained seem like nothing, but you know what to do if you start worrying toooo much- which is easily done, i know.

I would take the cleaning thing as a sign if it wasnt for the fact i always clean one day on the weekend Och, well.. we shall see, eh?

I have decided to ask boss to leave (even) earlier for my docs appmt..its not a big deal, only 30 min in total, so should be ok..then onwards home after docs with test in hand. Wahey!!

oh, and should be interesting what docs say as im going for a smear test..will ask nurse
