I've spent today cleaning and tidying the house and I found a piece of paper in the bottom of a drawer. It was dated 3rd October 2007 and it was probably the first low point of my ttc journey. I'd been trying four months and trying to stay relaxed about it, but getting more and more sucked into the ovulation, temping, what to eat /not eat etc.

I don't know whether it made me want to laugh or cry that I found it almost a year to the day after I'd written it. And it said I'd been trying 4 months. I can never quite remember when I started I thought it was July or Aug 07 but it must have been July.

16 months, man, it's been a long wait. Heinz should sponser a ttc product - "good things come to those who wait" lol!!

Aw.....well hopefully those 16 months can soon fade into insignificance when you get ur soon after your jollies!!!!

Hey hun, I know how hard it is - after ttc for 2 years with DS I was beginning to think it would never happen. I promise u it is worth the wait when u hav ur little baby in ur arms. Just stay positive and don't let it get u down

how you feeling generally? I was reading my journals from starting TTC the other day and I agree that around 4/5 months does seem to be the worst time .. I wonder why? Do you suppose after that we become resigned?

You and I will have our BFP's soon ... and toddle off to 1st tri .. dragging Omi and others too!

hello my dear - hope u r feeling better today... the long wait is so emotional but one day this will be in the past and we will look at our LO and think how worth the wait was... it will happen!! Take care hun!

It is so hard when you find a reminder that brings it back to you how long you've been TTC. This happens to me ever so much. When I started in May 07, I just could not have believed I'd still be at it 18 months later. I am sure that we will both get there, though, and it will all have been worth the wait.
