I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey girls, thank you so much for popping by. It's been a very boring time! But I decided to include the temp I had discarded on FF and it brought my OV forward by another day. So it looks like O'd on CD16 after all. It's still 2 days later than I've ever had but I guess I can live with that lol! So now I'm in synch with you Tansey & Yaya. Hopefully I will be next month as well, though you girls will have your BFP by then anyway so won't be my cycle buddies next cycle anyway!
Less than a week now till Hubby is home really looking forward to seeing him. It feels like he's been away forever. I suppose because last trip home all I really did was cry and go the hospital, it feels like we haven't been together properly in three months. I have a special birthday coming up while he is home so we are making plans for that and other than that I think well have a nice weekend away somewhere towards the end of the month when I think I might O if my cycle plays nice!!
Part of me wants to get really excited about trying again and part of me doesn't even want to think about it. It's really strange and I can't explain it. I want a baby but I'm just not sure I want to think too much about the whole ttc or pregnancy process at the moment. Maybe it's just some kind of self-preservation thing?
My friend had her baby last night, she was only 6lb 6oz and was full term. Unfortunately something is badly wrong. I don't have all the details yet but I think some 'internal tubing' (windpipe, or tube to stomach maybe?) is missing. My friend has been sent home less than 24 hours after an emerency section and her baby is in ICU. Please say an extra prayer for them. Thanks xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi sweetie,
so sorry about your friend...i hope she gets some hopeful news soon
I like your attitude though..its very sensible and the way forward i think. Its better to go au natural with the mental attitude thus insuring you feel comfortable with yourself and ttc mentally, you know... does that make sense?
I really hope you have a great time, im sure you will when hubby comes home, and with birthday coming up it'll be happy days for sure
Hope you're having a great, if wet weekend, lol!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Well hello again all. I'm in a much better mood today! My temps are staying post ov high o just waiting to find out how long the luteal phase is going to be. I'm going to go back to Agnus Castus next month to see if that might knock me back to o'ing CD14 again next time.
My friend's baby is going to make it!!!
She is still seriously ill, her osophagaus isn't joined to her stomach, she has a hole in her heart and something is wrong with one of the vertebrae on her spine. The hole in the heart is fixable and not as big an op as the one to fix her osophagaus and she'll probably need operations on her spine in later life. All in all it's going to take about 8 months, and it might be 8 months before they even get her home, but she's going to be ok. I'm so happy for them but also devasted as well. It never entered my head that she would go into hospital and not come out with her baby. She was full term and has had quite a lot of scans after they noticed she had too much fluid so you think everything is going to be ok because she has been well monitored. It makes me feel bad for wishing the world would stop when I had my m/c.
But the baby's dad should be dead after an incident in Iraq and the baby's mum went home less than 24 hrs after her c-section, has refused anything other than paracetamol and is having to be restrained from tidying and cleaning!! The baby is from fighting stock and I'm sure shell make it through this.
Thank you all for your wishes. |
