Hello, thanks again for the posts. I still feel like I belong here, can't quite get my head around the pregnancy sections - it all seems so complicated compared to the ttc section!!! But then the ttc section was complicated when I first joined. I don't really want to leave you girls - so c'mon over to first tri and we can gate crash the party (soberly!!!)

I've not started a pregnancy journal yet, I wanted to wait till tomorrow at least when I have my first doctors appointment. I don't know what I will find out at this stage but I'll let you all know how it goes anyway.

So far pregnancy isn't affecting me too much (like you'd expect anything different at 4 weeks!) but I am a bit tired sometimes and it's affected my thinking - what should I be doing or not doing, eating not eating etc. I want to give Applepip a good chance to bed in and make himself comfy - no early exits please!!!

How did it go at the doctor's?

What hospital are you gonna go with? Just asking cause i was invited for this women only thing where you get to speak to a dietician and a physical therapist, and its great. You get to ask all those questions an more, and its lovely to be with other mum's to be at the same stage as yourself. Mine was at the Queen Mum's.

Anyway, enough of me going on, lol!

I wish you both an easy and happy pregnancy, sweetie. And just remember to let things run naturally- follow your instincs and logic and you'll be fine!!!

Hey Omi, I've been wondering where you've been hiding!

I'm going with the Queen Mum's. Woo hoo, I was a bit scared they might send me to the Princess Maternity at the Royal but my doctor asked me and she referred me there without any hesitation. I always think the QM is safer as it has Yorkhill attached.

I didn't get very much from the doctors to be honest, apart from a urine bottle to take in a month's time!!! She said that the hospital won't get in touch for a couple of months maybe and my first scan will be at 12 weeks. I've got a debate on in first tri as to whether or not to get a private early scan. Hubby comes home around about week 6 till week 10 then goes away week 10 to 14 so he won't even be here for the scan as it stands at the moment. With this scenario we decided to tell my mum before he leaves at 10 weeks and his mum when he comes back at 14 weeks (as she's not very good at keeping secrets *cough*) So I was thinking early scan at 9 or 10 weeks before he goes and we can show that to my mum when he tell her and mum could come with me to the 12 week scan. BUT I think DH is going to try to get home for the 12 week scan.

So there would be no point in getting another scan two weeks before, and we could tell my mum and his mum at the same time at the 12 week mark. But I still think I'll tell my mum sooner. I can't wait to break the news.

Excited, me? No, not all!!!!!!!! I always ramble like this!!!
