I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi girls, I'm getting quite excited about my reflexology appointment now But I just wanted to note in my journal that today CD 9 I am in agony on that right side. Its kind of in a line with or just under my tummy button but over near the edge of the hip bone, sort of high pelvic area. It was there when I wakened up this morning and I couldn't move for it, when I did I took milk of magnesia in case it was trapped wind (unlikely but possible) but that hasn't helped at all, in fact its getting worse as the day goes on. It feels as though someone is squeezing that bit really hard, or even standing on it, its a horrible pressure type of feeling. It's early for me to O - i usually O on Day 13 but I took an OPK anyway, and my surge line was pretty dark but I don't think it quite matched the control line. Certainly wasn't far away though, I'll try it again tomorrow. But I'm wondering if its the result of all the various things i've taken this month (pregnacare, EPO, dong quai & Agnus castus) or if its perhaps completely unrelated to ttc stuff at all.
Whatever it is I hope it goes away soon and I really hope it doesn't interfere with my reflexology!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Dont know what it could be babe? But then look at me fri i was convinced i was having draggy feelings thinking it was implantation cramps or something like that, well hoping anyway and think it might have been cystitus now instead, nothing to do with ttc symptoms!!
Hoe youre ok though dont put up with too much pain tho chick go get it checked out if youre worried and it doesnt pass, although to me sounds like it could be to do with oving if youre getting darker lines on your opk's. let us know x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks girls. I'm hoping its O related but I've never had O cramps this strong and Af is usually much more central and lower. Hmm, I've not had my appendix out - now there's a lovely thought for a Monday.... but I'll bet its something dead simple. I'll give it through tomorrow and if it hasn't gone by Wed I think I'll call a doctor. Maybe its just a massive egg trying to break out - not realising there's no blooming spermies this month!!
Good news on the reflexology though one of my friends spoke to some of her new 'first time mum's' friends (boo!!) and two of them had reflexolgy and concieved after 1 session of reflexology having been ttc for 18 months. And one of them went to the same lady I'm going to we think!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | hey girls, its so nice to have you all popping by - even when you know it's not really a ttc cycle - it means a lot to me, so thank you all :flowers:
i don't know what to make of the pains, if its O pains its way stronger than usual and way early but it certainly could be the agnus castus or some of the other stuff I'm taking - who the hell knows. As you say us girls get all sorts of pains. I'm tucked up in bed with a hot water bottle and have had lots of hot drinks. I'm sure it will pass.
Thanks again girls, it's fab to come in here and see you've been to visit |

I'm Currently Feeling: | oh sh1te! I think this is what you call having a bad night. Rumpskin, I thought I'd look into the agnus castus and dong quai after you said that you had stronger pain too - there really doesn't seem to be a lot of stuff relating to AC but DQ is a slightly different story: " In several studies of laboratory animals, varying amounts of dong quai caused unpredictable contraction or relaxation of the uterus, which could result in miscarriage. Although no reports of miscarriage in humans have been published, pregnant women should not use dong quai." ( source: http://www.drugdigest.org/DD/Printab...5,4039,00.html)
Having not BD'd in 4 weeks or so i'm not worried about causing a m/c but the unpredictable contraction could certainly be what I'm experiencing.
This website http://www.sisterzeus.com/Angelic.htm also tells of herbal abortion using guess what - yep, DQ. Again it seems to induce contractions of the uterus.
It does seem to be very rare but I am wondering if I might be one of the few. My DQ capsules are 530mg and I've been taking 2 twice a day as per directions. That's just over 5.2g if my calcs are right and the net seems to idicate that 1-4g is a normal dosage so I'm taking high amounts. I'm going to post this on the main page as well I think.
Feeling a bit concerned now though, even though I know I can't be pg. But I'm also worried I may be barking up the wrong tree and cause a panic to other girls using DQ.
Gawd, what a can of worms I've opened |
