I also agree that you shouldn't put ttc on hold as you may wonder if you missed the best month possible. I like Kaelia's idea and have in the past told friend that I'm on antibiotics for an ear infection or something simple and they leave me alone. It's just a little white lie for a very important private reason.

Usually at a birthday bash, you can refuse a lot of drinks by saying that you have 2 or 3 drinks on the go and simply couldn't manage another. This to be said whilst waving one arm dramatically around the room as if your drinks are mysteriously awaiting you on several tables. Ways and means.

Ah Tish, you are brilliant !!! I knew there would be an easy around it, I just couldn't see it. The headache is too obvious for most of my family and friends I think, and if I say I'm ill and then cavort about the dance floor to Abba and George Michael the way I usually do, folk will definately be suspicious!! BUT just declining drinks because I have too many (and feeding any others to the plants) would definately work!! Tishi, If I could jump through the screen and hug you in cyberspace I would but meantime will have to do I suppose!!

A medium told me in Oct I'd have a baby within a year, obviously I won't now physically have one by then, but I sure hope I'm at least pg by Oct. Fingers crossed and lots of baby for us all and sticky womb glue for those girls like Holly & Molly & Merv's Mum too over in Tri's 1 & 2.

That would be nice Rumpskin, I hope you get yours but timing was so bad for us this month I just don't think its possible. But there is always a glimmer of hope. Cramps are getting worse though as the night goes on, I think she is going to be early. Damn her!!
