Well, I thought I wouldn't do an online journal as it would drive me nuts, but going into my 9th cycle of ttc I've decided I'm already mad anyway! My hubby and I are both 29 and we've been married 5 and a half years but together for 11. My parents had a little boy (well a big boy at 10lb 15oz!) when I was 19 and he's taught me a lot about the responsibility and hard work involved in bringing up a child. When he was a baby I took responsibility for sterilising his bottles and wouldn't let anyone else do it! I made his bottles for the day before I went to uni!! I would help my mum to change his cot when he was sick and screaming in the middle of the night as my dad is selectively deaf and would sleep through the whole episode!!! She'd try to make me go back to bed but I never would. He's 10 now and it's homework and sums I help with now rather than bottles!!!

A couple of years ago (about 27) i felt ready for our own but DH didn't and so we waited. It wasn't fair to force the issue. DH is as ready as me for a baby now but nature & life in general isn't playing, or so it seems. Just as we started to ttc in July 2007 DH got a new job which meant spending 28 days at home and 28 days away. It gave me the chance to give up my day job and start my own business and its great when he's home cos we have a full 28 days to ourselves. I'm determined to start on a high, so tomorrow I go out to buy some OPKs and Evening Primrose Oil to help the CM.

The arrived today but my first day is always light so I'm not sure if today or tomorrow is CD1.... (as you can see, my ticker is wrong!)

Other than that I'm ready and raring to catch that egg this month. Here's hoping in 30 days or so I'll be telling you all that I have !!

Thanks for the Samo. I've launched a photography business, mainly Scottish landscapes at the moment but I'd also like to get into doing kids portraits.

Actually CD1 counts as the first day with a full flow.
I got AF on Monday afternoon but it wasnt a full flow untill Tuesday so i count Tuesday and CD1

The first day of your period is usually the first day you see red, the real blood, not just some brown discharge.
i think you usually we get some some brown discharge and than the blood no?

See, that's what I find confusing. I always have a light period anyway, usually three days and I can get away with liners except the middle day. So never sure if it's too light or not to be called CD1. Why is it so confusing?
