I thought it would be a great idea to have a journal to follow my TTC progress.
My name is Louise I’m 28 years old (29 next month) my partner, Dave, is 33 years old.
We decided on 30th January 2008 that we would like to try for a little baby. That was the last day I took my “Pill”. I’ve been taking “The pill” for about 10 years. I took Microgreon for 8 years and I was on Cerazette for nearly two years. We are both aware that this could take a while because of the length of time I was taking the pill.
We’ve only been TTC for 3 weeks, but it seems much longer. I still haven’t had my first period after coming off the pill.
I’m so excited at the thought of becoming a parent. Dave is as excited as me, he bought three books a couple of weeks ago, one was about becoming a Dad, and the rest were about the pregnancy. We also had a walk around Mothercare a couple of weeks ago, we are both so very excited.
I’m not really sure how it will feel when I ovulate, it something I haven’t really taken any notice of over the last few years. I’ve been having stomach cramps and notice CM (it’s quite stretchy) , I’ve also had a few pains around that area. I’m hoping that either I’m ovulating or about to start AF, which will be the first one in nearly two years. I have been taking Ovulation tests and a very faint positive line has appeared, but looking at the instructions it says it’s negative.

Hi ya and welcome. Stretchy CM is a good sign along with the mild cramps. I wish you lots of babydust for your journey. It's also very good ur OH is as excited as you. Good luck I wish you all the best. x
