Day 13 feel the same as yesterday, bit bloated with a niggly tummy.

OPK - test line almost as dark as the control line this morning. I bet it doesn't stay that way throughout the day though!

CM is wet and slippery - traces of EWCM.

Have done 4 OPKs today and they have all been pretty dark, but none quite as dark as the control.

Bd twice today.

I now have pains in my left side, but I ovulated on that side last month, so I don't think it can be that!

Just because you ovulated on the left side last month doesn't mean it wont happen again this month! i don't think they switch off, it's usually a 50/50 chance for either of the two. I usually get my pain on the right side, i can't even remember the last time my left side ached!

Are you using cheapie OPK's? I find they are a nightmare as you never really get a strong clear positive.

Day 14
Well today was a suprise result - absolutely no test line on my stick at all!!!!!!

So if I got my darkest line yesterday when do you lot think ovulation will happen? Today, tomorrow?

I still have niggling pains on left hand side, but not nearly as bad as they normally are, I normally ache and ache!

Well be bed again as soon as we got home from work so am doing my best!!!!

I am really pleased if I am ovulating because that is WAY earlier than the past 3 months (normally ovulate on the 17th day) looks like the vit b6 has sorted me out and hopefully lengthened my luteal phase!

Just to say yes I am only using cheapie sticks, what I found yesterday is that part of the test line was darker and part was lighter

Day 15.

Still on and off pain on my left hand side feels like ovualtion but has been going on since sunday evening.

My boobs have started hurting today - so I guess this means my progesterone has started to increase and I have probably ovulated?

I get painful boobs every month so this symptom is nothing new.

Have tested twice today on OPK -both totally negative no test line at all.

I think I remember reading on peeonastick.com that when the test line is dark on one side and light on the other you should ignore the light part in some cases. Well let me just copy from the site:

"13. My test line looks "half positive"-- only one side of the line is dark. What does it mean? Most of the time, OPK results are easy to read; the "result" line is one uniform color/darkness. Sometimes, however, you may get a result that looks "half positive," like this:



When this happened to me, I contacted the distributor (in this case, BabyWishes.org)-- I even e-mailed them the above photo. I was told that the darkest part of the "result" line should be compared with the test line, and that this applies to all brands of OPK's.

This month I purchased some Answer brand OPK's, which I had never personally used before. After my LH surge appeared to last 6 days (going by the above rule of thumb), I made the unsettling discovery that my tap water was also ovulating. So I called Answer's 800# and asked the same question. This time I was told that the dark part of the line must be at least 50% of the total width to be considered positive. Going by THAT, the picture above would be considered negative. (And, in retrospect, my LH surge actually lasted a common 2 days-- and my kitchen faucet is not currently fertile.)

So, it appears that my information from BabyWishes was incorrect; it does, in fact, depend on the brand of OPK."
