It's always great when you get a doc who just goes that extra mile to show he does care. It can make the world of difference.
Best of luck sweetie, you have been TTC for a long time so you're allowed to get frustrated, heck I've had my complete meltdowns before! I'm not afraid to admit it.
Just catchin' up, hun! You're such a sweetie, I do hope you get one or the other soon soon soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (of course a BFP would be the ultimate!!!) Wow, Ihop... geez, you're making me homesick!!!!!!! y'know they don't DO the breakfast thing AT ALL here!! Not even at breakfast time! 2 am food here is kebabs, YUUUUCK!!!! Even Macdonald's closes at like midnight... and this is the capital of Switzerland! yeah... anyway...
Thankies ladies for all the posts. I feel so loved. LOL
Last night at 5:30pm, I was doing paperwork in the office at work and my coworker came in with a Big Mac and Chicken Selects. (She is 29 weeks pregnant and eats loads. LOL) Anyway, the smell of the food made my stomach turn. I almost got sick all over the office but held it down. (For the most part... the whole sick in your mouth thing... TMI?) Then, every time I looked at food, I got nauseous and later, I got the runs as well.
Now I am at home... feeling ill. I was fine this morning until I drank water and now I feel nauseous again. I am pretty sure that I am just sick and not pregnant because I doubt I would feel ill this early but does anyone have any advice?
Edit: Oh yeah...
Since the 11th, I have had mild cramps and lower back soreness. Now I am nauseous and things are going right through me. Boo...
I would love to hope for a BFP but I think I am just ill. I have one EPT left but I am too chicken to use it.

Reason: I remembered...
perhaps it's your new meds (metformin)? not sure what side effects there are.
just looked this bit up:
Quote:
The most common adverse effect of metformin is gastrointestinal upset, including diarrhea, cramps, nausea and vomiting.
Gastrointestinal upset can cause severe discomfort for patients; it is most common when metformin is first administered, or when the dose is increased.
I know you recently increased the dosage a bit, your body is probably just trying to get used to it. i hope you feel better soon. I get sick from almost all medication i take (i NEVER went on BCP because of the amount of sickness i got from it! that's just one example), i know how 'icky' it feels .
Still cheering for you though as it could be good news yet!
ohhh and go buy those internet cheapies

The following user says 'Thanks' to Samo for this post:
LOL! Thanks for looking that up. I am usually good with pills but I will survive.
I found a site that looks good and has the best price on internet cheapies. I get paid on Wed. YAY!!! I hope DH approves.
BTW... Alaska is great. Heck... now I wished you'd be stationed here too. AK is full of military (especially Air Force.) It is literally the most beautiful place that I have ever seen. I love the snow but we are having a heat wave and it is like 40+ degrees outside. Yesterday it rained so overnight everything turned to ice!!! I do no have studs on my Explorer so I am sliding all over! Scary!
Spoke to DH about internet cheapies and pre-seed! He said, "Sounds good to me." Woot! I will probably buy some this next week! YAY!
I also admitted to taking a HPT and he was like, "But your cycles haven't even started yet." I tried to explain but gave up. LOL At least he wasn't annoyed or anything.
Still a bit nauseous but I did manage to eat so that is good.
That's great! Glad your OH is supportive Mine hasn't said a word about me buying all sorts of TTC stuff even if it's only our first cycle trying. He just thinks it's funny We'll see how funny he thinks it is when we actually start using all the stuff
"ok now get the preseed"
"ehmm ok"
"are you done? ok, get me a pillow under my bum"
"ehhrr... ok"
etc
etc
I'm very glad he hasn't seen my big plan yet
