cd1 is today!

I am excited but I am off to the state fair so I sort of wish it would come tomorrow, you know? *pout*

Oh well, I will go and have fun and be happy that the new cycle finally came!

CD1 and your last CD1, from your next cycle i only want to be hearing off 4weeks and 2days and so forth hey.....

I trully hope and pray this is it for you hun, new cycle, new beginning, new joy's...

*sob* I missed my internet! It was down almost 2 days because some damn fool doing construction in our neighborhood cut the underground line!

The fair was great but I am having the worst cycle ever! So heavy! Oh well...

So... MY DOCTOR IS THE BESTEST!!!! I called today to make the ultrasound and post-coital appointment on the 12th only to find out he will be out at a local medical conference. Well, spoke to the nurse and my doctor and Dr. Elrod decided to come to work on his time off on the 12th so I can still have my post-coital and ultrasound on the right day! He is soooooooooo great! WOOT!

So, I meant to write about this sooner but since my internet was out, I had to wait until now.

So, after the fair on Sunday, Jack and I had a nice long talk with my mother about our TTC journey. I susally do not tell her much as she tends to be so fucking dramatic but this time was really nice. I told her about the Clomid and this being my last round of it if it did not work. I also told her how I had to switch doctors and everything if that is the case and that I am worried about that.

I also told her that, if in the case of a worst case scenerio and we had to go with IVF, that we would move out of state because the travelling on top of the medical procedure costs is something that we simply can not afford. She understood and was like, "Well, God, I hope it does not come to that."

Then we got on the topic of egg donors and I was very honest with her. I think people may think bad of me for this but that is not an option for me. Even if I carried the child for 9 months, knowing it is not my DNA, I would not feel like the child is mine. That is my mindset and it is something that I am not comfortable with for me.

In theory, I think egg donation is a great service, but it is so not for me. I just want to freaking O so I have some faith that it will not come to that.

I worry because as it stands, IUI and IVF are not options unless you produce fertile eggs, right? (Must do internet research on IVF but I know it is the case for IUI.)

In the end, Mom seemed happy that we told her all that was going on and I felt better for having told her. It is funny how close we have gotten over the last couple of years seeing as we did not talk for almost 5 years because of her drinking. Now she has been sober for 6 years next month and we are actually friends. It is really nice.

Hey hun, firstly i am so happy you and your mum are comunicating very well again, it always helps when you make peace with a problem, and good on her for almost 6years sober

Secondly, i am not sure about the whole IVF and UIU but go and search up on it and you should be able to get answers, my thinking is telling me you would be able to O naturally even if by other medications or assisted O, but never fear of not having your own fertile eggs it is not even an option at this stage hun.

Thirdly, never give up hope, and always know that i say a prayer for all my friends LTTC and TTC, as i believe we all deserve to be mommies....
