LOL! I wish I got a raise. For right now, I am staying the same because I am in a Wal*Mart McDonalds which is MUCH MUCH easier than a traditional store but my big big boss told me that once we get that place in shape and I prove that I can do it, I will get a traditional store and all that goes along with that.

The good news is that I will make hourly instead of salary so I will get paid for my extra hours put in! WOOHOO! I am planning a 12 hour day tomorrow so yay, money! LOL

I will be asking for a raise at the end of this month though because I am going through ASMC (a management class) and once I graduate, I will be golden and deserving of a raise. LOL ^_^ Besides, this move got me out of my hell-hole of a store that I was in! WOOT!

Also... on a different note... we got 6 inches of snow today and more expected tomorrow! I thought spring was here! *pout* Oh well... at least it is white and pretty again!

That's great that you will get paid hourly so that extra hours count for something!!! That's soemthing that sucks for DH, sometimes he has to stay at work until 2AM or later but pay doesn't change. Hope you get a raise at the end of the month that'll be great! money is good

aww i was just thinking today "i wish it snowed more this year" as we only had snow on about 3 different occasions! HOWEVER i am welcoming the warm weather

But what the hell?!?! Can we get that springy sunny, flower smelly, baby making feeling already?!?

Have I congratulated you on the promotion? Yes I have but here it is again: Well done!

So, life has been so crazy with my new store so I have no time to even thinK about obsessing over TTC. (That is not to say that I am not trying but you know... LOL)

However...

ONLY 3 WEEKS AND ONE DAY UNTIL MY NEXT DOCTORS APPOINTMENT!

ONLY 3 WEEKS AND ONE DAY UNTIL I CAN HOPEFULLY HAVE A TICKER ON MY SCREEN FOR NORMAL PERIOD CYCLES?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I AM STOKED!

Hell yeah! This is drastic but I just realized that my insurance covers IVF too!!!!!
Insurance through IL state freaking rules!!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
IL Infertility Insurance Laws
What is Covered?
Illinois requires group insurance and HMO plans to cover the diagnosis and treatment of infertility the same as all other conditions. For example, they may not apply any unique co-payments or deductibles for infertility coverage. Benefits shall include, but not be limited to:
* testing
* prescription drugs
* artificial insemination
* invitro fertilization (IVF)
* gamete intrafallopian tube transfer (GIFT)
* intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
* donor sperm and eggs (medical costs)
o procedures utilized to retrieve oocytes or sperm and subsequent procedures used to transfer the oocytes or sperm to the covered recipient are covered
o Associated donor expenses medical expense, including but not limited to physical examination, laboratory screening, psychological screening, and prescription drugs, are covered if established as prerequisites to donation by the insurer
What are the Limits?
Benefits for advanced procedures such as IVF, GIFT, ZIFT or ICSI are required only if you have been unable to attain or sustain a successful pregnancy through reasonable, less costly medically appropriate infertility treatments for which coverage is available under the policy.
The benefits for advanced procedures required by the law are four completed oocyte retrievals per lifetime of the individual, except that two completed oocyte retrievals are covered after a successful live birth is achieved as a result of an artificial reproductive transfer of oocytes. For example, if a successful live birth takes place as a result of the first completed oocyte retrieval, then two more completed oocyte retrievals for a maximum of three are covered under the law. If a live birth takes place as a result of the fourth completed oocyte retrieval, then two more completed oocyte retrievals for a maximum of six are covered. The maximum number of completed oocyte retrievals that can be covered under the law is six.
One completed oocyte retrieval could result in many IVF, GIFT, ZIFT or ICSI procedures. There is no limit on the number of procedures, including less invasive procedures such as artificial insemination. The only limitations are on the number of completed oocyte retrievals.
NOTE: Once the final covered oocyte retrieval is completed, one subsequent procedure (IVF, GIFT, ZIFT, or ICSI) used to transer the oocytes or sperm is covered. After that, the benefit is maxed out and no further benefits are available under the law.
NOTE: Oocyte retrievals are per lifetime of the individual. If you had a completed oocyte retrieval in the past that was paid for by another carrier, or not covered by insurance, it still counts toward your lifetime maximum under the law.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Because McDonalds headquarters is in Chicago, our insurance is through BCBS of IL. HELL YES!!!! AK insurance blows!

Man... in the last 3 days, I have work 3 11-12 hour days at my new store. Man!!! It is making me tired.

I have to be honest in this thread since it is my little home. I read something on this site today that just pissed me the f*** off. I know I have my emo days about my cycles and stuff but I honestly try not to beg for sympathy from others and whine about my problems. That is what my journal is for, not the main part of the site. I guess I am just ranting about other people being like all "poor me" day after day after day. After a life time of my problems and nearly 10 years on and off of TTC, I have tried to stay positive. The last few months were rough but I still try! This is me --->

This is not to say that I do not think that others peoples feeling are vaild or anything like that. It is just that I think everyone needs to see the whole picture. No one is in it alone here. We all have our own problems and we all come here for support. We should try to stay positive and stuff. So many posts can get trying and tiring, you know? Is this awful to say?

I have high hopes for both myself this month with the doctors appointment and all my TTC girlies who seem to be doing so well this month! Good luck to everyone!!!!

(PS - No and nothing happening what-so-ever! Oh well! Only 20 more days to something other than Met. WOOT! )
