is here! I'm glad she decided to show her face now and not on my trip!

FertilityFriend is so funny, it predicts I´ll be fertile from CD 16 to CD 44 ..... that's a 28 day marathon!! Yeah right!

I may sound totally stupid now but I might give ttc a rest for a few months now. My mom turns 50 next march and she just told us she's gonna invite the whole family to Tenerife in march! ..... So if I get pregnant in my next few cycles I don't think I can travel with them because I´ll have an infant or be heavily pregnant! Oh dear, I´ll have to think about this.

I spoke to my OH about it and we're gonna wait until august/september to try again. I don't know how I feel about it yet, a bit sad but I don't see any other way, the trip with my folks in march means a lot to me. We haven't done anything like this in over 12 years.

A part of me is relieved as I won't have morning sickness and exhaustion at my new summer job, plus I´ll be able to finish Uni without taking maternity leave.

But I don't know how I´ll manage to not POAS etc etc .. ugh this is gonna be weird.

I will still see a new doc and try to get him to measure my hormones, specially progesterone, since my temps were always a bit low and didn't rise until a few days after ovulation.

Phew!!!!! I was worried there that you were about to say goodbye!!! Good luck with your break hun- as miel says, it often happens when you're least expecting it (my first did!) although I hope you get your family reunion too. Shucks, I guess you win either way!

Hey hun, good decision - life has to go on around ttc. Me and DH were ready to try again in Jan 07 but my parents turned round and booked tickets to Florida for me, DH and DS so we decided to delay ttc. The hol came round quick enough in March and here we are ttc. So don't worry it will fly by.

Good thing you'll still be around. I'm glad you're taking a break for something you really want to do and that will be fun but you know that if you change your mind that's okay too! And you can always temp and pee on OPKs meanwhile even if you use BC just to.... monitor yourself
