Chellebelle's Journal

Hello. Well I have started a little journal on Microsoft Word, but I always forget to keep up with it, and seeing as I am lurking on here alot nowadays, I thought I'd try to keep one up-to-date on here.

I am 24 and live with my partner of 7 years. We have been TTC for 2 years for our first baby. After being prodded and poked early in 2007, I discovered I have PCOS and one blocked tube. Scott (my partner) also went for a Sperm count, and was found to have a low count.

I was then referred for a Lap... I got there, sat in my dressing gown for about an hour, then was told that I didn't need one as I have one fully working tube. I was prescribed with 4 rounds of Clomid (100mg) which I am now on cd35 of my 3rd round.

Clomid #1: took day 2-6 monitored temps which were up and down, Day 21 blood test - everything fine. Cd28

Clomid #2: took day 2-6 monitored temps - up and down again. Day 21 blood test - everything fine. Thought I was pregnant as the cycle lasted 50 days and according to my day 21 bloodtest, I o'ed!! Cd50

Decided that this next round I was not going to monitor temps as I was getting too stressed... just go with the flow with just the aid of Clomid.

Clomid #3: took day 2-6
Bd'd - cd8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, 22, 24, 27, 34
EWCM - CD13, 18, 24
Pink Spotting - Cd 31, 32, 33

So here I am on cd35... still unsure if this month it has actually worked for me?? I have never experienced spotting before, so I am hoping that it is a good sign, however, from all the research done, I have found that it isn't. I did a pregnancy test today which was BFN... so I am getting more and more doubtful.

Ok, I feel like I am obsessed. I am searching through google constantly trying to find other women who have had pink spotting, a negative HPT, then a positive HPT and gone on to have healthy pregnancies. I keep coming accross forums where women have posted the same problems as me, but with no response from them after they have posted their problem. I am going to give it a rest now if I can. I want some chocolate but the shop is too far away and I am in my pyjamas... so I will have to make do with fruit.

Your very welcome for the reply. I am exactly the same, googling everything from vitamins to lunar cycles, charting and test sticks. It's highly addictive. Tomorrow I'm going to try and ban myself from turning my computer on to give myself a break.

I wish I could do the same... but I work on a PC, so it is too tempting to just open Google and just type the first thing that comes to my head when I have something really important to do and just can't do it because I am thinking about other things.

Well good luck with that and I hope you stick to it. It's nice to see someone else as crazy as me.

Hiya and thank you very much polo princess.

I have been having mood swings which is really not like me, but they were worse on my first round, I seem to have got them under control a little more, and I am a little nauseous when I first take them at the start of my cycle, but that is about it.

The worst thing for me is the emotional side effects... hoping every month, then feeling deflated when AF arrives, I seem to cope ok, but then I get a few days where I just can't stop crying.

Are you on Clomid too? Good luck with this cycle for you too!

I am starting to wish I had monitored my ovulation this month. As I have been spotting, I am wondering if I o'ed very late. Today, cd36, I have sore bbs and a little cramping, and frequent urination... but I am wondering if the frequent urination is just because I am wanting symptoms. Luckily, I have no more spotting... I don't want anymore spotting because I believe that too much spotting is a bad sign, and when I was spotting a few days ago, I was sure AF was going to arrive. Plllease let this be the month and keep the away.

Aww honey, does your head in doesn't it? I swear I'm starting to go crazy with this TTC thing, we've been trying for over two years also. So after a while you start thinking "is this real?" I think sometimes I make up symptoms that are so real just so I can feel normal!!

Best of luck, I'm really not sure with the spotting, I usually get a day of spotting before AF, so it's normal for me, but if it's not for you then it could be a sign? Fingers crossed!
