Grandest Wish: Again, have a good paying job, own house and great family

Anyway, in addition to the information above, I got married to my wife on 1st September 2006 and things are going great.

I've never really thought about having a baby until now, but she's been broody for quite a while. It doesn't help that at work, at least three people are either pregnant or having a kid, so it got me thinking. I'm entering 30 and now would be a good time to try.

So I got the book my wife had ordered a while ago (Taking Charge of your fertility) and to say that there was a lot of info was an understatement. I mean I know about ovulation, periods, and what happens. However, when you read the book, it talks about eggwhites, position of the cervix, taking temps and charts as well as lutal phases. As I'm reading, I'm thinking WTF. Here's me thinking that for the most part, you don't use contraceptive and having sex after she's ovulated and if you're lucky, BANG you have a kid.

Then reading that for most people it takes quite a while, it was certainly an education and I'm still sure I'm not too hot on things. So if I say something stupid or wrong, then please let me know.

Am I broody - I would say so, feels weird though and I know that it's going to take a while as the wife has PCOS (well highly suspected). Even though we're no where near having a baby, we already have a shortlist of names and each of us have veto powers.

Just to make sure it's not me firing a starter pistol, I got myself tested last week and should hear something this week. Hope it's not bad news.

Anyway, I've written quite a bit.

Just noticed your signature about trying for a pink but blue would be good too. Now if that means you're trying for a girl, than that's my thoughts too . Think having a girl would be nice

How do you get custom gifs?
