oh hun, how frustrating! I know its easier said than done, but try to occupy yourself w/ other thoughts/activities to take your mind off... I am a total believer that the more we stress/obsess the more we put a wrench in things down there... (Listen to me, expounding advice as though I'm not a totally obsessed ball of nerves 24/7 myself!! )... ...
well anyway, strange as this is, sending you dust (if there is such thing! ) and lots and lots of ... and !!

Since I live in New Orleans, this weekend should be pretty stress free. I am going to enjoy Mardi Gras and have a good time and try to put TTC out of my mind for a few days.

Well, it has been quite a while since I have been on here, mainly b/c I did not have anything good to report. After several rounds of bloodwork (and lots and lots of progesterone) my dr has referred me to a fertility specialist. My progesterone level is .8 (not "8" ... POINT 8!!) and I have not had a period since December 11th, so I made an appt this morning for April 29th.

I really do need to get better at this whole journaling thing! My appt with the fertility specialist on the 29th went well. He was very nice and has a pretty high success rate (he helped my friend get pregnant with a beautiful son) The dr. put me on more progesterone, which did NOT make me have a period yet, so I will be calling the office on Friday if I still have not gotten AF. He wants to do an HSG on me, and also an ultrasound, just to make sure there is nothing wrong that my other doctor may have missed. Once AF shows up, I will be on another round of Clomid, and we will go from there...
It has been a rough couple of weeks. A very, very close friend of mine who had gotten pregnant after a year of trying just lost her baby, so we have been comforting each other. It just seems like life is soooo unfair sometimes.

I recently started on Norethisterone (Progesterone) and got AF on Saturday, still have it just now, but it worked for me, I was taking 15mg per day for 5 days, is this what you are taking?

Good luck with TTC, I am on Progesterone for 4 months to see if it will regulate me, after that I'm hoping to be prescribed Clomid for my PCOS

I took medroxyprogesterone this time, but I can't remember the dosage b/c I left the bottle at home today since my last pill was on Sunday. I was on prometrium for 2 rounds before from my regular gyno and no period.... It just feels so weird that I am trying to conceive and HOPING for a period!!

I just got off the phone with my Dr's office. I have an appt for tomorrow morning to get a vaginal ultrasound done and more bloodwork since I STILL have not gotten my damn period.

Well... I go back to the Dr today to get another internal ultrasound done... and more bloodwork... and a post coital test. I hope it goes well! My dr will have the results of the HSG, so I will talk to him about that. I know that my right tube was blocked, and the dye from the test pushed the blockage through....
