Well, I thought I better start this up again - been on hols (to Lapland) so haven't had the chance to log on. A bit of a round up of what happened last month - was about 3 days late and really really thought I was PG. Sore, heavy, HUGE boobs, bloated, tired - just FELT PG!!! Took a test day after Boxing Day, negative. But still thought I was PG. Then darn witch turned up on the Saturday after Xmas!!

So I've learnt 2 major things in the 2 months I've been trying - don't read too much into symptoms and even when you FEEL PG right down to your very bones, you might not be!!!

I've started 2008 all happy and excited - eating healthier, exercising and accepted it might take me 6 months (or more!) to conceive seeing as I'm 30 so just waiting for Mother Nature to help me along! The rule of thumb for this cycle is BD every other day from day 10 to day 17 of my cycle. Which is what we've been doing apart from today cos he's working crazy shifts.

Getting ovulation pains and my CM was stringy yesterday afternoon then this morning but back to normal other times (weird!). AF is due 2 weeks tomorrow (26th Jan) so the 2ww begins tomorrow :-) I actually enjoy it but also feel kinda anxious in the last week too. Will keep you posted - and will still post my 'symptoms' even though I know you can't rely on every twinge just in case. x

Looked after my cuz's 18 month old girl, so nice and easy really. Gave me a glimpse into (I hope) my future. On my 2WW now and getting panicky that it'll takes me ages to conceive and can't bear the thought! Spoke to my stepmum who's due soon and she said her big early symptoms were huge bbs and nausea - and that was very early, a week before her AF was due.

For the record - BD'd Mon, Wedn, Sat. Not sure that's enough really. Probably will tomorrow. Guess this is the first month we're trying in earnest as past 2 months, we haven't had chance to BD much (once or twice a week). Please let it be this month!

Getting sharp pains in my left hand side, maybe I'm ovulating today? Bit later than I thought - if so, BD'd Sat late afternoon, so hopefully that was a good time to BD? Think I might need to invest in a CB monitor thing just so I understand when I ovulate.

Well, I think it's about 6 DPO, not feeling 'different' in any way but then I wouldn't for a few days anyway, I guess. But noticed loads more CM than usual (maybe it means I'm OVing now, I hope not cos it'd be too late to OV and be able to conceive as I read that if you OV less than 10 days b4 AF due, it means you can't conceive). Feel bloated too but ate a big meal a coupla days ago. Deffo wanna use CB OV kit next month just cos I really need to know when I ovulate cos at the moment, I'm guessing based on a) CM, b) OV pains and c) at what stage of my cycle I'm at.

Feeling a mounting sense of panic occasionally too, brought on my fear that I might take a long time to conceive but I need to get a grip, this is our first month of 'properly' trying and only third month not using contraception so need to get a life!

Just noticed loads of CM, more than I usually get now. Constantly noticing it!And feeling incredibly tired and incredibly hungry. But I have grown to be wary of symptoms!

CM notably increasing every few hours. Is not sticky but it white, watery, has a teensy but not unpleasant smell (sorry, tmi!!). Never has this pre-AF before (well, in my memory, which is bad!). As I posted on main forum, I am wary of symptom-watching - every cycle, there's a new symptom 'fad' for me (sore bbs, nausea, headaches, cramps - you name it, I've felt it) so here's my new fad. It might just be pre-AF stuff (don't usually get that and not sticky but hey, there's always a first); could be an infection like thrush (ew! Will it effect my chances of conceiving if it is this?) or yeh, it could be a PG symptom.

Who knows? I won't know till the fat witch sings ... x
