Lindos in Rhodes. It was a wonderfully romantic location right by the sea. I would recommend it to anyone for a lovely holiday too. Good food, weather, lots to do and see and wonderful people. We are thinking of going back for our anniversary, you know without our guests so that we can have a more relaxing holiday without the wedding organizing going on in the background.

I've been to Lindos, twice actually - once on my European travels as a backpacker, and then 2 years ago when we were in Prasonisi (also on Rhodes, a wind surfing spot) on holiday. We went to dinner there, it was beautiful, you dine on the rooftops, eh? Lovely! Oh, um, I think I'll PM you, but I think I might know one of your guests?!?!?! That'd be CRAZY!!!

So, back to ttc: just checked your chart, yikes. Temps seem to be dropping now though, and w/ your EWCM could indicate ovulation - could you not, um, JUMP HIM!!!?!!? Like, NOW!?!?!?

So how are you feeling this month? I read you got late EWCM - do you think it's a sign of a long cycle, or perhaps an impending bfp? - any other signs of AF arriving?

Oh now you are all flattering me. Thank you for your lovely comments. It is good to see what people look like don't you think. I would normally use a photo as an avatar, it's just that this is such a private thing that you have to be really careful. I couldn't bear lots of people to find out, especially as it's taking time.

I'm actually quite glad I put the photos up because it should help people realise that age is indeed just a number. All my family look incredibly young for their years including my 74 year old dad and it's hard with this TTC lark that when you feel relatively young, your body clock slows down the process and effects your chances of success. It's just a fact of life that women's reproductive ability decreases with age ... although I'm still capable of running half marathons. Daft isn't it?

Wendy, that would be really funny if you knew one of our guests ... wait and see.

Ney Ney, you know I think AF is on the way any minute and I've just had spotting! It's a strange cycle this one but for now it looks like it's going to be short not long. I'll soon know but thanks for the vote of confidence. As an aside, I've had a headache for 3 days and sore boobs for nearly a week and never have I had so many patches of EWCM. Oh, and I have only every spotted once mid cycle so really, I don't know why it's so different. I mean today I have pinkish EWCM and last night I had a really sharp pain in my right hand side when I turned over in bed. I'll check it all out with my doctor soon as I would love some blood tests for progesterone and FSH. God, I hope it's not the start of the menopause although I think I'll be in my 50's for that. My mother went through it in her 50's, but no-one really knows when it actually starts. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
