I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey Sweetie, I don't think I'll get to use my CBFM this cycle, as it has not arrived yet, and I'm past day 5. I've heard you can trick it, but I'm not sure how. And I don't know if it will effect my chances by putting the readings out of whack. So I will probably just rely on OPK's this month.
So, your TWW is going to be more like 3WW? Do you think we will be testing around the same time again?
Bring on those Valentine Day suprises!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Wow, a high right off the bat! Goodluck!
Ney Ney - I wouldn't trick it unless you receive it soon. I got it when I was on CD7 and I still had to wait a day until I could test which made it off by 3 days! |

| Hi guys, Yes, HIGH readings straight off (and another one today CD8 ). I reckon because the monitor has registered that I ovulate early in my cycle, it's giving me my best options by highlighting as many fertile days as possible. However, it is measuring estrogen in FMU, so I am taking it that my body is approaching ovulation. It's fascinating to measure the hormones and get an idea of what's going on. I still feel a little anxious though as not everyone gets a PEAK reading each month, so fingers crossed that I will.
I've added my FF link so that others can view my chart if they wish. It shows CD9 as my ovulation day last month, so if I'm similar this time around, I should show a PEAK on the monitor in the next day or so.
NN: I am due AF on 6 Feb, so that will be my approximate testing date. Gulp! Hope we're testing together again, it was nice to have a testing buddy. |

| Waaaa! Am working nights at the moment and last night developed cystitis (UTI) that showed blood in my urine. I contacted my doctor today who has prescribed 100mg MACRODANTIN (NITROFURANTOIN) x 28 (ONE four times a day for 7 days) to clear up the infection.
Our chances are either ruined for this month, or I will end up worried sick closer to AF.
Still no sign of a PEAK on my monitor and I just want to wee and waaaaa! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Aww honey, did he mention the affects of the antibiotic with TCC - you are still on Cd11 so a peak is still quite possible. Hang in there. I hope you're feeling better soon |

I'm Currently Feeling: | awww hon, feel better soon! That's the most important thing, although I totally understand how frustrating it is to have to "sit one out"... | | | | Status: Offline

| I'm just feeling a mixture of confused and frustrated because I know we are still in with a big chance, particularly if I get a PEAK on the monitor and we BD that day. The antibiotic is prescribed for pregnant women who suffer with UTI's throughout their pregnancy as this is quite common. However, I'm a bit scared to risk it, but tempted at the same time to continue to ttc.
The doctor of course is not going to give the go ahead, just in case. He did indicate that we should give it a rest so to speak whilst I take medication. I feel agitated more than anything, but will discuss it with my husband as he's a very good "voice of reason" for me.
What pisses me off most are the amount of people I meet through my work who conceive and bring healthy bouncing babies into this World whilst they drink and drug themselves silly. And here's me worrying about 7 days of antibiotics. I want a healthy baby though and don't want to do anything that would jeopardize the chance of that. I must be sensible!
Hey girls, look at us three. We're 'currently feeling' confused, angry or bitchy. What a bunch we are!!
Oooh! I nearly forgot. I ordered PRESEED and it arrived in the post today. I had planned on using it on my day of a PEAK reading on my monitor. I feel tempted again now just thinking about it. Oh, decisions, decisions. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | You might want to try the preseed before you get your PEAK to help the swimmers get up there in time for ovulation. Goodluck! |

| this may be good news Yes, yes of course. Good advice ref PRESEED. Glad you're thinking straight because I'm not. I get a bit fuzzy brained when I'm working nights. Have to go and catch some zzzzzzz's now before I start at 9pm.
By the way, I've posted this elsewhere, but I got a response from an on-line doctor re. the antibiotics and they said: "Macrodanting (macrobid) is a relatively safe antibiotic given to pregnant women with UTIs, and is considered by many docs to be the first choice for treatment of UTIs in pregnant women..
It can be considered safe for one to ttc while on macrobid...
Good luck, and keep us posted..." And they sent me baby dust, how sweet! |
