Absolutely! That is exactly the reason I have invested one of the dearest Fertility Monitor's; I didn't want to waste any time or reduce my chances due to expense. Especially as I am not getting any younger. It's sad really when you feel to fit and healthy and age becomes a factor. Not to worry, I'm looking forward to using the monitor and seeing how I get on.
This month isn't for me though as has made her appearance today on CD24. That confirms that if I did ovulate, it would have been early and it makes sense that I most likely missed it.
A few more months and my cycle should get back to it's normal old self.
Thank you for your good wishes Wobbles; every little message is warming and I appreciate the thought.
Have been busy travelling and celebrating the holidays so far and am in fact still on holiday for another 2 days. Joy!
Got my Clearblue Fertility Monitor on Christmas Eve and started using it the next day. So far so good and it's a great little gadget to play with. I'm hoping for a display of fertility any day now and look forward to knowing I have actually ovulated. That's my main concern for now and it will be a great relief to know when it happens.
Im enjoying using my monitor too, using the sticks is strangely satisfying lol.
What CD did you get to start yours on? I just made it starting on cd2.
Hello there,
Oh I'm pleased to hear someone else is happy with their new toy. I love gadgets anyway, but this one is the business!
You were luckier than me being able to start on CD2 as you can probably poas straight from the packet. I got mine on CD 5 in the afternoon and therefore only just made it in time to use it this cycle. Phew! As you have to use first morning piddle, I have had to decant mine to use for testing between 1315 and 1815 hrs, but at least I didn't miss this month altogether.
So far I have only had the first little black block display and can't wait to see it climb to show a fertile day.
According to other manual charts, I should ovulate in about 3 or 4 days time, so hopefully I'll see the monitor change soon. It so exciting, I feel like a kid. Showed it working to husband today and we sat there like 2 little kids waiting for the 5 minutes to be up.
Mine is set for 13:00 but im a late sleeper so that suits me.
It says in the book you can save your FMU and use it when your testing window pops up.
I had to do that this morning as i woke up needing a pee.
Same CD day as you. I've just posted on your diary page. How funny is that?
Not sure about my cycle length yet though as only came off pill on October 31st and not sure if back to normal yet. I feel good though and like you, can't wait to see the monitor change.
Well as I mentioned, this is the first month of using my new Clearblue Fertility Monitor, so every little change is very exciting.
The monitor is today showing a HIGH reading on CD9, so it looks as though I will ovulate in about 2 days time and that I could have a 24 day cycle length, like last month.
I have also cross checked the monitor with a cheapie OPK (green & white) stick and this too shows a feint test line, so they concur.

Reason: cant read your text!
Well, it's CD10 and my Clearblue Fertility Monitor registered a PEAK and I have a dull ache in my right side; so it looks like I will ovulate in the next 24 hours or so. I say 24 instead of 24-36 as I test in the afternoon will FMU that I decant.
We have planned a bit of romance this evening, so it seems, if all our plans come together, I will have my first official 2WW.
Here's an interest thing, I tested again this afternoon with a cheapie green & white OPK stick and it showed only a very, very feint test line. Funny that.
