Well you can't say I'm not trying and I am sticking with my FF charting, noting as much as possible every day.

Took another HPK (blue & white cheapie) this morning, just to make sure as I had a beer last night (just the one) and it made me feel a little guilty. I thought I had more or less convinced myself that AF will show any day now, but I don't really know what's happening. I'm not building my hopes up, just remembering that I've read some people don't find out they're pregnant until weeks and weeks after they are late.

My temps have risen just a teeny bit in the last few days and I definitely had a one off EWCM experience which could indicate later than believed ovulation (or a second ovulation??) or aliens. It's confirmed I've lost it.

As you know hon, I'm going thru EXACTLY the same (though I'm only 4 days late, so your'e going thru worse than me). Do you usually have long and unpredictable cycles? If this is the latest you've been, GO TO THE DRS to get a blood test!!! I have done some research and loads and loads of girls don't get their BFP, despite being PG. (equally, there are lots of girls who are late then get their AF so we mustn't get our hopes up too much, right? But soooooo difficult!). You said u haven't had any symptoms but some people don't for ages (I've started getting them now).

You're being so patient. If I were you, I'd be straight to the drs! x

Thanks for the support. I'm not complaining as at least if I have no symptoms, I can assume AF is on the way and just get on with things. If I had symptoms, I would be going crazy for sure.

I did go to the doctors 8 days ago at the suggestion of FF when I had my first negative HPK. The doctor wasn't very helpful really and when I produced a printout of my chart from FF and told her what I thought, she asked me if I was a medical professional. After her initial reaction of , she then went on to say that the lab was a bit 'funny' about doing blood tests at this stage without a positive HPK or any unusual abdominal pain and she told me to wait another week before coming back.

I think she was daunted by the FF chart as she barely glanced at it. I could tell she didn't understand what it was about and she started mumbling something about 'timing of sex' quote, unquote. I switched off from her at this point as all I could see was a doctor who looked about 15 yrs old who hadn't learned the word intercourse. I told her about a dull ache I had experience in my right side and she just shrugged her shoulders at that saying it could be a little fibroid or something. How does she know? I think it was actually wind, but I'm certainly not going to tell her that now. At the time I was thinking more 'ectopic pregnancy' or something a tad exotic.

As I walked out of the surgery feeling really stupid I was thinking

Now that I've moved, I have to find a new doctor, so can't just walk in an ask questions like last week. I'll give it a few more weeks I think and see if AF shows etc.

I think GPs are just so naff sometimes. When my mate got her BFP, she was so excited and when she went to the dr, the woman was totally rude and actually told her 1 in 3 pregnancies end in m/c so not to get too excited. Can you believe it? Anyway, you're being brilliant; very calm. And I hear ya about the symptoms thing. I have loads at the moment, all having developed at about 10pm last night so that ain't helping me with keeping the expectations down. O well, we'll get thru it hon! x

Well, I think I've sussed what's happened with my cycle as today I had a little play around with the temps on my FF chart. I noticed that my temps have now risen to where I expect them to be (> 36.6) after ovulation for the first time since the start of my cycle. I fully expected FF to change the ovulation date, but when it didn't I tried discarding one of the open circled temps at a time that were taken outside the time limit. Et Voila! A new ovulation day of CD39.

I think it looks more like it now and ties in with my symptoms for AF rather than PG. Now it's a waiting game to see if AF comes on March 7th as predicted to fully confirm that my ovulation was delayed this cycle.

Our house move coincided with it, so no chance of a baby this time, but I really don't mind as long as I ovulate. That gives me a fighting chance next cycle and means my plumbing is still in order. It will also explain no PEAK reading on my monitor. Good job Sherlock.

Heres hoping your theory is right.
I would expect that moving house would be enough to easily mess up your cycles.
