Hi there,

I'm still here and still waiting for something to happen ... most likely AF I think, but still no sign.

Incredibly busy with house move at the moment so no time to stay unfortunately. My husband has just walked in the door with some hot food too, so have to go and join in the fun downstairs.

Thank you for your good wishes and for keeping me in your thoughts. I feel like I'm missing out not having the time to read everyones posts. Still, I'll get back when the house is a little more organised.

Chat soon. Ciao for now. and to one and all.

I've passed the frustration stage of waiting to see a positive result. I'm not sure why, but I seem to have a bit more patience this week. Perhaps it's because I've resigned myself to waiting for AF to show and not a BFP. It feels a bit more realistic and easier to handle.

I cannot however believe I am on day 43 of my cycle. That's something I have never experienced before and I wonder if the stress of ttc has caused delayed ovulation? I do hope it's this and not the start of the menopause!!! You just never know do you. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Our house move has gone smoothly and the place looks very homely already. When I am in the house I feel happy, but the distance to work is longer and I am having to adjust to this as it's worrying me a bit (it's about 33 miles and takes about 50mins to 1hr). We now live closer to my husbands two children (aged 10 and 13) who live with their mother. This is great for my husband, but it is worrying me too that they will spend more time with us and somehow affect my life. I can't quite put my finger on why I am worrying as I find the boys delightful, it's just that they are not mine and I think sometimes I begrudge them my time if I am honest. The eldest one is adorable and follows me around like a little puppy, but I find the younger one grates on me a little ... for example he eats with his mouth open and stops when I ask him politely, but does it again the next time. It's almost like he does it deliberately and I have taken to subtly walking out of the room now when he does it as I don't want to cause waves between us. It really bothers me, but I have been telling him the same thing for over a year now, so can't understand why he continues. I'll have to mention it again to his Dad and get him to try to coax him to stop. Sorry for waffling here, I just felt like I needed to share this with someone.

Anyway, back to the ttc stuff. I tried another HPT about 2 days ago and it was negative. I don't have any symptoms whatsoever so don't think it's worth doing another one. I'll keep you posted either way.

Good luck honey, I am really hoping there is going to be some good news at the end of all this.
Don't worry about the boys, I am sure everything will work out fine. You sound like you are great stepmum to them.
Wishing you loads of babydust
