I'm Currently Feeling: | It doesn't make sense for it to give you a high reading if its really going by your estrogen level and such unless your estrogen levels are still really high? Maybe it means you are pg!? |

Maybe it means you are pg!? | I honestly don't know why it would continue to register HIGH. The only other thing I can think of is that once it detects estrogen, it will show HIGH until it detects a PEAK. It automatically shows a PEAK for 2 days, followed by one HIGH and then reverts to LOW. At leas that's what the instruction manual leads me to believe.
I thought in my case, it had detected estrogen on CD6 (my first day of testing) and from then on it had been searching for a PEAK. As it had not done so (missed it I think), it is now automatically showing HIGH readings. However, Avistar's monitor has gone straight from HIGH to LOW, so I'm completely baffled now.
Avistar ... honey I really have no idea. I sincerely hope you are in with a chance, so don't give up until you know for sure. As for my monitor, well tomorrow will be my 20th test stick this cycle, so that will be that. Another HIGH today, which makes NINETEEN in a row. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I can't believe it! Maybe try and call the helpline. I did even though they didn't help much but tell me to be sure to dip the stick in the cup for exactly 15 secs. Since this is not your first cycle using the CBFM, they might have different info for you. |

| Mmm! I'm not overly bothered about it to tell you the truth. Well, not for now anyway as I have seen other women with similar on FF charts and suspect it may be normal under certain circumstances. It worked brilliantly for me last month and I only had to test for 10 days.
If it does similar next month, then I will be asking questions. However, I think I will give them a call and ask them in any case, to see what they say. I am away on a course for 2 weeks with work until February 15th, so will have to call after then.
For now, tomorrow is my last day testing I suspect as it will be my 20th test stick.
Thanks for your suggestion though. It's a good idea. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | no problem, I would be going mad crazy right now if I were you haha! But it all might be a good sign though!!! How are you feeling besides seeing the constant highs?
I am really down today... I am still spotting and have more today than yesterday...but it isn't like normal flow, you know what I mean...think I should just start my new cycle???? I took a cheapie test and it was negative. Maybe since my period took so long to come last time, this is all just old blood...who knows! |

| Avistar: I will answer your message in your diary page as I'm going to come and visit you there in a minute.
Update on my CBFM readings for this cycle.
Drum roll everybody ... it finally changed from HIGH to LOW. No idea what went on this cycle, but am going to phone the Clearblue desperation line later and ask them what they think.
I am pleased that it's changed to LOW though, but have a sneaky suspicion that it missed my PEAK (as I've said before) due to using only FMU, which is feasible if my surge lasted anything less than 24 hours. Then as per the Clearblue website, it will keep registering HIGH's for a prolonged period of time until it detects a PEAK. As it missed mine, this would be impossible. I then think that the monitor calculated day 20 of testing and automatically changed to a LOW reading. Don't think it has anything to do with excess estrogen or anything sinister. It's a computer after all.
Here's to testing on Valentines Day and praying that my temps will stay up for me. |
