Tish, I've really been interested reading the info you've told about the FSH test. Each month that passes by, I want to know more and more if I'm functioning properly or not. I'll wait another cycle or two before I inquire about the tests.

As for DH's test: Miel, my DH is being the exact same way as yours was... he's SOOO not into getting the test done. I'm very curious about the "home test"... he'd be totally comfortable w/ that. I'll PM you!

I'm so glad about the upcoming tests, I'm even more excited about the current spotting.

Like the girls have said, there are home tests available for DH if you wish.
Personally, I know you said you don't want to consider IVF, but I wouldn't rule it out just yet. Your age is only slightly a factor right now, as IVF has worked for plenty of older women, in fact it's common as shit in a pig pen! So just keep that in the back of your mind darlin

I'd hate to see you just call it quits without going down fighting

I'm laughing so much at lots of things posted here.

Phexia: That picture is sooooo cute and it's true, I miss you too.

Miel: Oh yes, the home test has crossed my mind and if I need to, I shall make a cunning plan. I wonder could I sneakily scoop some out of me and use the test hidden in the bathroom? Is that bad of me to think that way. I haven't even spoken to him about it, so he might surprise me and say yes. Let's leave that subject for a bit.

CloudyDay: I defo want the blood tests and my doctor does sound well up for it all. However will have to work out CD2/3/4/21 etc first. This cycle looks like it's taking shape after all. *see below

NeyNey: Don't worry, I'm not done yet and feel enthusiastic about having the blood tests. I am sure I am in good condition plumbing-wise and also believe we just aren't getting enough BD'g in to be honest. My husband is not someone you can push in that department and seems to have a low sex drive at the moment. It's such a tender subject, I really think it best not to make even a small issue out of it. I'll have to think of something here too.

Tansey: Well, it's definitely not my month, but thanks for the vote of confidence.

*After making the appointment for Monday with my doctor, it turns out that AF is not here at all. My CM and particularly CP have changed really dramatically this morning and this is the first day this cycle that CP is hard. Looks like I have delayed ovulation and CD24 is O day .. FF has given me red cross hairs and my temps have risen to where they should be after ovulation. I feel relieved that I have ovulated.

Still going to have blood tests etc., done and looking forward to getting the results whatever they are.

Maybe baby next month and baby can have an April birthday ...

Morning Tishi

Yr chart is looking good hun -- nice temp rise! Good luck with getting bloods etc done: I'm sure it is a smart idea just to get these things looked at. I totally empathise with having a man with a 'low sex drive' -- it is really hard when you are ttc. Dp and I have been using a superfood called 'Maca' in the last week which is supposed to be great for fertility and libido for both men and women. It is a powder made from the root of a plant that grows at extremely high altitudes in Peru. The local people have been using it for hundreds of years and there are no side-effects. It balances hormones and even supposedly increases sperm count/volume!! I'm hoping it is going to do something for us -- I'll keep you posted!

Yippee! Still really happy about ovulating and to tell you the truth, I managed to panic myself about the menopause and ended up looking up anovolutary cycles and the fact that they are common in perimenopausal women and had convinced myself that I may be in that category. It really made me feel low and pensive about everything. I've never been so happy to see red cross hairs on a chart before and don't give two hoots about our BD'g being totally mistimed as that's not as important as ovulating.

TT: It looks like my blood test on Monday will be like the CD21 for ovulation as I guess it's done approximately a week after general ovulation time. I'll have to wait until AF shows to have the other one done, but am looking forward to getting the results. The test for FSH can be carried out on CD2,3 or 4 I found out.

YaYa: The supplement sounds wicked. I hope it works and why not try it if it has no side effects, it can't hurt. It will be good to hear how you both get on. Best of luck with it.

Your mind must be going a bit crazy right now with this spotting. It might be a good sign though, get what I mean? Or have u ruled that out? x
