I'm a total muppet!! I don't know why I thought you were 30 as well!!! Well at least you can console yourself with the fact that you have a good nine years before you hit the big 3-0! I had my 30th in September and it's not that bad (trying to convince myself) I did hear that 30s are the new 20s!

You are in the 3wws now! That's a really good sign - are you late often? I really hope this is it for you and you can celebrate your BFP as an early Christmas pressie! Good luck hun!

Yes I am.. Should I not be? I read that it was good to take a prenatal vitamin while you are trying to get pregnant so that is what I have been doing

You should most deffinately be. Thing is, most women don't realise the benefits of folic acid until they get pregnant. I'd tried for 4 years to get pregnant, started taking folic acid in September and now I'm pregnant.

Thanks Carolina!! I reall appreciate the support!! I let myself get my hopes all up because I was much later than I have ever been.. But I probably did that to myself with all my anxiety about being preggers!! This month I am just going to relax and let whatever be be.

Hi Tiffers,

I found a really informative website; take a look http://www.sisterzeus.com/basics.htm

As for the folic acid, I'm taking it too as the nurse I spoke to at our doctors surgery recommended it be taken for as much as 3 months ideally before ttc. Folic acid is beneficial for the development of the baby's spine and helps in the development of the fetus, reducing the chance of the baby having conditions such as spina bifida. So, carry on doing what you are doing, it's good for you.

Good luck next month sweetie
