Hi Tiffers,

Don't be worrying about there being something wrong. If you're anything like me, the whole excitement of ttc pops into your head morning, noon and night ... even when you think you're not thinking about it, it's actually in the back of your mind. It's the waiting game that gets to everyone.

You are like me in that this is your first month ttc and again like me, you are just getting to know your body and how the plumbing works.

For the moment, you should be delighted that you detected your ovulation. That's a huge bonus, as I reckon half of us miss it altogether. I'm still waiting for mine this first time.

Even if you do get the timing right, it's up to mother nature to make the mechanics work. All the ingredients could be doing a merry little dance around each other (disco) and never get to connect (waltz).

However, that said you still have to get your AF, so it's no wonder you are a bit anxious and excited. You have symptoms too, which are no doubt building your hopes up. I don't blame you feeling impatient, I'd be exactly the same.

Just keep posting here and we'll keep you company whilst you wait.

In the meantime, I'm still sprinkling the magic for you.

PS: You think you're bad, I've been crazy enough to get not one but two predictive readings to keep me thinking positive. Ha ha! I'm a crazy chic.

Thanks girls for your support!! I really appreciate it! I ned some company during my wait. I am going CRAAAZZZYYY!!! lol My poor husband.. I have been trying not to talk about it and not to let him see that I am anxious about it.. But he came home from work yesterday and he was like "what is wrong with you" and then I just went on and on.. haha.. wrong question to ask yesterday!!! Anyways.. I know that you are right Carolina.. I am sure that I may have ovulated later than I thought. I think when you get a positive OPK that you can ovulate anywhere between 24-48 hours.. and depending on how long it took to implant.. I could still be too early to detect it. According to my calculations.. Tomorrow would be the day I could detect it in worse case scenario! haha But, just because my heart does not want to see the I am going to make myself wait until Monday or Tuesday.

You are so right Tishi!! IF these stupid symptoms would stop playing tricks with my mind and AF would show, I would be SOOO happy just knowing that I ovulated!!! Last month when I tried to figure out when I ovulated.. I got all negatives. I just want something to happen now so I can move on with life! haha

Just thought I'd post and say you are not alone. I am in exactly the same situation - AF due Tuesday and already have done 5 (yes 5) tests!!! All BFN - symptoms - heavy tender boobs, crampy tummy, bloated - all could be AF or PG!!!!

ITS SOOOOO FRUSTRATING

Ovulated around the 27th November so reckon should be showing on tests by now.

Arghrghrghrghrgh!!!!!

It becomes all you can think about doesnt it!!

Sending positive your way and hope you get your this week!

Tiff,

So sorry to hear that! Last month I got my period exactly one week late and it really messed with my head. I guess this is all just a test of our patience - but I have a feeling that the TTC anxiety will be a fond memory to the rest of the journey. I have only been on this chat for a day or so now and I feel so much better already. I was starting to feel really alone as my DH has no clue what I am going thru Thank you all for being there and sharing your stories. I will be testing on 12/15 if AF does not come. Lets hope the next week flies by! If she comes, I am off to the store to buy and OPK for the 5th cycle... In the meantime, I am crampy, my nipples hurt and my dreams are very vivid so I am going to let my imagination fly and pretend like I just bought a lotto ticket - waiting for the drawing date... Good luck next month
