As I have mentioned in another post, I am starting Slimming world this evening. Have found dieting on my own difficult so am going to give this a go. Fingers crossed it will all work out this time.
Went to my first weigh in tonight and have lost 4lbs. I'm really pleased. Am going back to work on Wednesday (still on sick following operation) so will be far more active than I have been recently.
As for ttc i'm on cd33/34 now. I ovulated on cd23, when do you think I should test if the doesn't show? baring in mind that I dont have any kind of regularity to my cycles.
Here's a quick update on where I'm at.
I'm on CD64 now and still no sign of the
After waiting 3 months for my follow up appointment with the gyne I decided that a enough was enough and gave them a ring yesterday. The receptionist said ''whoops, you should have had an appointment 6 weeks ago''. So she has booked me in for next Thursday (28th). So I will finally get my test results and we will know where we are at.
Hiya! Was wondering where you got to... CD64?!?!?! Good Lord, you poor thing! Glad you're going to get yourself sorted out at the doctors... Lots and lots of and too!
Oh, and CONGRATS on the weight loss!

I had my results today and although not entirely good at least I know where we are at.
Well it's been confirmed that I have PCOS and the test results are showing that I'm not ovulating. The doc has put me on metformin to deal with the insulin resistance associated with PCOS and plans to put me on Clomid in 3 months time when I have lost a bit more weight.
My husband needs to do another sample, but on previous tests he hasn't been able to produce enough to test so we are not too hopeful for that. So depending on his results we will know whether or not we are going to have to go down the assisted conception route.
I don't really think it's sunk in yet, I'm just feeling a little shell shocked.

Not seen AF since December 19th, so looks like Met is deffo starting to do it's job.
