Losing weight after mc while ttc


Wondered what you ladies thought.

Are you trying to lose weight after your mc?

I'm generally a slim person but gained some weight before my mc and some more being inactive after my erpc. Now I'm torn between dieting to lose the weight vs not driving myself too crazy as we're ttc again now. I feel like a little extra weight round my tummy and hips probably doesn't hurt while ttc (there is no scientific proof of that! Just belly + hips makes me think 'child-bearing'!)

Did you try/are you trying to lose the pg weight gained after mc?

Hello again!

I definitely gained some weight after my MMC, Not a whole lot probably 3 lbs or so. I was eating like a cow because I was sad, and it didn't help that Christmas cookies were surrounding me every day. Now, I have cut all that out. I am thinking that eating a lot of greens and veggies will do a fine job of making me healthier... but only if I had the will power to cook/prepare stuff like that. I don't know of many good recipes, besides making a huge salad

Just cut out the bad stuff and see where that gets you. Are you still taking your prenatal? My doc told me to continue taking them

I have same problem, I'm doing slimming world, Zumba and a bit if swimming which is what I was doing before I was pregnant. Will have to stop Zumba when I get pregnant again, but slimming world is great because you can still eat a lot.

This is great advice. Thank you. Yes, I'm still taking my vitamins, I didn't take them religiously while ttc last time and although I know it didnt cause the mc, now I take them daily without fail.

I am going to follow your advice and cut out the bad stuff. This is exactly right. X
