How long after a loss

Hi, I was just wondering how long after a miscarry do u start trying again?? Thanks

Did your doctor not say anything about it to you?
It's generally accepted that once your miscarriage is finished, then it's safe to try again as soon as you feel ready. If you have a d&c or an erpc then this changes things as there is risk of infection if you start having sex too soon. I would get in touch with your doctor, if all is well they will probably say to wait until after your next af, but this is only usually for dating purposes if you get pg straight away. My dr told me to wait 3 months before trying again x

I dont really think there is a scientifically proven amount of time. After my first mmc my doc told me to wait 2-3 months..i waited 3 and got ph straight away but mc again.he told me to wait again but i got pg straight away(no af in between) and i am currently (touch wood) 19 weeks tomorrow! With both mc i had a d&c. The only thing i can understand is not to have sex for 2 weeks after the d&c because of risk of infection.i think they usually tell you to wait for dating and psychological reasons but only you trully know when you feel ready to try again.
