I had my last period on the 5th of August, and just about every weekend since I've been trying to conceive. 2 days ago I started having mild cramping, and then I had some brown discharge. Its not much, not even enought to fill a pad. I've had the bleeding/discharge for 2 days now. My period is due next week. I googled implantation bleeding and a website or 2 said that implantation bleeding usually starts before your next expected period. Could this be implantation bleeding, and how soon can implantation occur after intercourse?

Implantation can happen from 5 days after ovulation right up untill your period would be due.

If this is unusual for you & your period does start OR this spotting has not gone away by day 3 to see your GP x
