ClearBlue v Persona v Boots Fertility Monitor

There seems to be a huge difference in price between these 3 products -so am I right in thinking that ClearBlue is the top product?

DO the Persona and Boots monitors do the same things? Has anyone had experience with maybe two different ones?

I am new to this and its all a bit overwhelming

Hi

I've got a cb, it's only my first day of using it but I love it so far (sad!) Have heard lots of good things about it so thought I'd give it a try.

Have been temping for a few months but was getting a bit obsessive and I was worrying about it. A few of the girls on here recommended cbfm and said you get the same info as temping but with much less obsession!!

I got mine off ebay for £50, still had to buy sticks (£20). Not sure how this compares with persona?

I would recommend using ff to temp if you haven't tried before but just don't get too hung up on it.

Good luck hun!

lol, ff isn't that bad when you get the hang of it. It does get obsessive though, at the end of last month, I was putting in all sorts to symptoms to see what got me the most pg points!!! Temping every morning is a bit of a pain and not always convenient.

Have you tried searching on here for other threads on monitors? There's def been some others.

Yeh, quite a few threads were asking the same thing but a long time ago - I guess buying more than one monitor isnt really necessary

Temping is cheaper, I got my thermometer for about £15 in Boots. You must get one that has 2 decimal places though. If not maybe see what monitors are around on ebay?

Depending on how you feel, you could always just see what happens for a few cycles? If your cycles are fairly regular it might be the way to start. The obsession of TTC will get you soon enough!!!

LOL!

Incase you hadn't realised (I didn't and got prematurely excited!!) you have to start it from cd1 to 5. If you're any later than that in your cycle, you'll have to wait til next month.
