I brought all sorts for my 1st everything was ready for his arrival.

Even the pram lol - My Mam wouldn't let me take it to my house.

I couldn't have afforded to have got everything when he was born nor would I have had the time. Not even sure I could afford to buy it all now either. I must admitt there is alot stuff he had that I wouldn't buy now (things we never used) and vice versus.

If you see sommat get it whilst ya can, otherwise it may have gone when you go back.. We wouldn't want tamtrums!!

thanks Premomt that makes real sense!!! Ive actually started clearing the room im going to make into the nursery, bit by bit!

You may be able to help me, but Im want to get a book about pregnancy etc as Im completely clueless about loads of things

but just dont know what to get, do you have any ideas?

the cot is like a crib, a wee baby bed

and the pram is the thing to push your new born about in!!! sorry to put it so simply, i dont know how else to describe it!!

I think you call a cot a crib in America and a pram is a stroller or buggy x

and youre welcome for the book recomendation! Hope it is a good read! I've heard it uses alot of the same princibles as Feng Shui if you don't know what that is you can google it for some good info.

As for good pregnancy books, What to Expect When you are Expecting is what I call the baby bible. It has loads of good info about pregnancy and birth and there are books for what to eat when you are expecting, as well as what to expect in the first year. I picked mine up just a few weeks ago, and have read most of the first trimester already! (ill be ahead of myself... but who cares!)
