quick question - my periods are between 24-30 days (usually 26-28) and i have no reason to not believe i'm ovulating....but how do you know for sure without taking a test?
are there any ways? thanks everyone, i'm new to the world of ttc!
You have to take your temp and watch your CM...that's relly the only way without getting tests from the doc, I think. Your temp will go up from the progesterone being produced during the luteal phase, this is the easiest way to know.
There are many posts about ov'ing on here. You can do a search to find some good answers, but the short one I have come up with is that everyone is different. Some women get ov pain like cramps, most women get EWCM (egg white cervical mucous) your cervical position and texture change, and your BBT changes.
Hope that helps!
The only way to confirm ovulation yourself, is to chart your temperature every morning and wait for it to rise more than 0.2 degrees and then stay higher until you either get your period, or a positive pg test. It rises dramatically the day after you ovulated. All the other things can tell you ovulation is coming, but it still might not happen.
