OPK still negative?

I have posted on MrsG's thread but then felt bad for hijacking...so wonder if anyone could give any advice - pretty please?

Been using OPK's since day10, all negative yesterday (15) had faint line at lunchtime but nothing else. Today definitie ovulation twinges and aches and lots of CM (think it is EW). Also temp drop from yesterday (Chart is below)

Is it possible that I missed the 'surge' for the OPK between 6pm the day before and yesterday lunchtime?? and the faint line was just the end of it?

My cycles are pretty regular 27/28 days since coming of the BCP at end of June

My cycles are usually 28 days. I started using an opk way before I was due too ovulate and way past when I was supposed to have ovulated. I tested 3 times most days to be sure not to miss the surge. The month I had no positive opk is the month I conceived... So the only advice I can give you is dont get too hung up on opks. Whatever the reason that i didnt get a positive opk that month noone knows but I remember being soo upset that month and thought all that effort was wasted, turns out it wasnt

Some women don't ever get a positive. Some people also have a very short surge which you are susceptible to missing. However, you may not have missed it. I don't usually get positives until the day of my surge! And my OPKs are also not positive until they are positive - I could very well have no line the day before it detects my surge. However, I'd certainly be BDing every other day to make sure you catch it!

I too am waiting on a positive OPK. As V said, I would just BD every other day, I am trying for at least that... and it is possible you are just having a delayed O this cycle. Princess gives us hope!

Thanks for the replies - I think I just missed it! last month the line wasn't overly dark either.

every day from day 12... so make sure we do again tonight - so hopefully that will have covered it!!

Temp this morning was up so I am sure it was yesterday, ever since comimng off the BCP I have had regular cycles of 27/28 days and if I ovulate any later my luteal phase would be even shorter (which can't be good)

I had 'assumed I O'ed on day 12-14 but nothing happened so last month was my first of temping but unfortunately DH had to go and work abroad from day 14 so missed it - so this is the first month with all systems GO GO GO!!!

if ur temps go up agane tomoz then u def o'd yesterday good luck seems like u have coverd all days have a happy 2ww

Hi Ladies! This is my first post! I have between a 33-35 day cycle. I based my chart as a 34 day cycle. Today is cycle day 15. This morning and throughout the day I have been spotting only when I wipe and have some cramps. TMI Sorry! Does anyone know when I should ovulate? Also, what is this spotting/cramping??? We want a bundle so badly!! Baby Dust to all my new found friends!!!
