20 Day cycle Ovulating on day 6 - 9

Been to doctors today as my last 2 cycles have only been 20 days long, Doctor said this is normal for some women and I should Ovulate around CD 6-9 which will mean some months I will get to ovulate twice a month.

Now I have to chart my BBT and do OPKS to make sure that I do Ovulate cause last month I tested from day 10 as I knormaly do but the doctor said I probably missed it.

Hopefully I will Ovulate and continue with the 20 day cycles then I wont have to wait so long to test and some months I will get 2 chances

Have you considered charting your temps so you know for sure you've ovulated? OPK's will only tell you that OV is approaching, but there's no guarantee your body will release the egg. Good Luck hun xx

Yes I started temping this morning CD3

What should I be looking for because I have no experience in temping I will take my temp every morning before i get up my first reading this morning was 36.63

Sign up to fertility friend and enter your temps in there daily. You can also enter your opk results and other signs. Then, when/if you ovulate, it will tell you.
