| TTC for 3 years - could this be it? Hey all, I'm Jessica Jane (jess will do nicely :P) and i'm new here! so my story.. i've been with my lovely husband joshua for 5 years now, we are both 25 and have been ttc for 3 years, its been a nightmare! we are both reeeally hopign that this could be it for us now, but i think its too early to tell. you ladies opinions would be much appreciated!
so i got my period last month on the 23rd october, josh was away with work when i was o'ing, but we had sex on 1st november, my period finished 30th october. from 10-15 november, i had the weirdest cm! i never get this, but i was getting like gushes of really watery cm, so much tht i was having to wear a pantlyiner so it didnt soak thru (sorry tmi!!). ive been told that is fertile cm, but ive never ever had that before. esp when i coughed or something, id get a gush! but anyway, now getting creamy cm. been noticing the past week cramping, fatigue n just a general feeling of rubbish-ness. yesterday i fell asleep as soon as i got home from work, slept for 2 hours then woke up again. went to bed at 11 but couldnt get to sleep til about half 12! also feeling rlyy exhausted now, and its only half past 9. this is weird for me. cramping all day, felt sick n dizzy at one point n had headache all evening.
whats up with this?? | | | | Status: Offline

| ah thankyou, yes haha it would be our christmas miracle!
but ive got my doubts as i know we didnt have sex at my most fertile time, and unless i o'd early then the chances are pretty slim ive been told. but fingers crossed.

| Anything different is good, right? I get fertile CM before I get AF, but that's normal for me. If it's not normal for you, it could be a great sign! And even if your BD pattern was not ideal, it only takes one sperm after all... | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi! Was the only time you had sex the 1st november? If so you'd need to have ovulated between 1st (cd10?) and 6th (cd15?), for pregnancy to be possible. If that's the case, you could be between 12 and 17 days past ovulation. I'd wait a couple of days and test.
On the other hand, do you know when you ovulated for definite? Your CM between 10th and 15th sounds like ovulation was approaching then, and it would figure into your cycle if you usually have longer cycles or late ovulation. What are they usually like? Do you chart or use OPK's?
Hope this is it for you! | | | | Status: Offline

i dont use opks and ive never been able to figure out the charting thing haha, we've just been doing it traditonally but now after 3 years n a miscarriage, have to look elsewhere - babyandbump!! :P
when shold i test? should i wait and see if af arrives in 5 days time? its so long to wait! im impatient haha, but i guess all budding mummies are!

| I'm sorry - I'm TTC for my first, so I can't offer much advice. However, I am thinking of you and really hoping you get a good result. | | | | Status: Offline

| If AF isn't due for 5 days, then I'd wait at least 3. But also, if AF isn't due for 5 days, chances are you ovulated too late to have caught it - unless you have a longer luteal phase.. Good luck! | | | | Status: Offline

| yeah thats what were worrying me! didnt get a chance for bd'ing around ov, so gotta take what we could get haha. but im sure theres loads of ladies out there, ones who aint even ttc, who have sex at whateva time of the month n dont even know when they ovulatin, n they get pregnant! like young girls n thatt, they must not know exactly when they ovulatin, n they still manage it! hahaa. im tryna keep optimistic. :P 3 years of disappoint is a lot 2 take xx | | | | Status: Offline
