Hey sweetie. I got my folic acid from Boots and they definitely do vitamin b complexes too. I'm sure they would do prenatal too. If you can't find them or you're not sure, just ask at their pharmacy counter, I'm sure they'd be happy to help. Alternatively Holland and Barratts are very good and the prices are usually pretty low. You may find your supermarket sells folic acid too, and if you're lucky maybe even a vit b complex but I'm not sure about the prenatal.

I went onto the boots website and i searched for prenatal vitamin and they said that they dont have it...

Is prenatal vitamin an actual vitamin i can take or is it types of vitamins?

It is a mulit vitamin formulated for women who are TTC and/or are preggers.

Try that, it should give you a better idea.

As I understand it prenatal complexs are a combination of vitamins and minerals which are particularly good to take when pregnant or planning a pregnancy. Hopefully if you paste the link below into your browser it should take you to a list or products like this that Boots sell. If it doesn't work go into pharmacy and health, vitamins and supplements, and then pregnancy.

I would venture a guess that they're all pretty good. If Boots do an own brand (I didn't check) that would probably be cheapest and will probably contain everything the brand names do. Afraid I can't help from personal experience as I've only been taking folic acid, but I would agree with Tigerlady that it's definitely worth taking them xx

yes, i have heard that many ladies on here take pregnacare. just about any you come across will probably be fine. Check to make sure it has good percentages of the vits in it (at least 100% or more). Except for Vit A, it should NOT have a full dose of that. That should be around 50% or less.

Pregnacare

I am taking Pregnacare - they say it's good for women who are TTC. But be aware that this supplement does not include calcium. You must get Osteocare or a calcium supplement separately to get all you need. I got my calcium supplement from ASDA, it cost me 2 pounds for two packs.

Also, you should take EPO during the first half of your cycle (before ovulation) and Flaxseed oil during the second half (after ovulation). These oils have essential amino-acids that help regulate our fertility hormones.

That's what I am doing for 2 months now, although I started TTC since last month only. I am currently in the 2ww, and FF has not confirmed my ovulation but I know it happened a day ago because I had ovulation pain.

Good luck!!!!
