Cervix (technical) question...please help!

Hi ladies

I've been thinking about starting to record my cervix position & texture but I am almost at the end of this cycle & was just wondering if anyone knew what a cervix should feel like at this stage of my cycle??

Should it be firm/soft? high/low? smooth/wet/dry etc...
obviously it should be closed but if you've never felt yours before how do you know if it is fully closed? - like how open does it get? - can you feel a little indentation & it still be classed as closed????

If nobody knows what it should feel like if I am pregnant can anyone shed some light on what it normally feels like just before arrives?

Sorry everyone but this is really puzzling me so any help would be very much appreciated

Thanks in advance for any responses xx

I know it tends to be low and soft for be before AF but sometimes that only happens the day before it starts. Also I think the thing with monitoring CP is that everyone's is different so you need to get used to what is normal for you.

Sorry not much help I know!

Yeah same for me, mine tends to soften a bit during AF.
The most obvious change for me is around ov time, HSO feels so different to LFC, also the watery/egg white cm is a dead giveaway too.

The things we do while TTC eh?

Sorry Nicky I don't have any answers for you. I have no idea what I'm feeling when I check CP. So I just don't do it anymore.

I am SURE there is someone out there that can shed some light for you.

Well nicky as far as cp goes for me....mine during af is soft and low( like put your finger up there and its like right there)...then it stays low and soft and as Ovulation is starting to come my cp will go high( my whole finger) and it be so soft...like squishy and you cant tell too much different from your cp and the walls of the vagina. It also is very wet and you'll have the ewcm. It will feel opened like you could put the tip of your fingernail in the lil hole. (dont try that. hehe) mine generally feels opened thought b/c i've had children. Then after ovulation it goes low and firm and closes up again. Also you will feel dry.
At some point if you are pregnant ..your cervix will rise back up and become soft again...but this happens at different times for everyone!

The thing is to check your cp sitting on the toliet with one leg up and to check it everyday at the same time each day. They say you cervix tends to be a tad higher in the am and lower in the evening....Good luck!

I dont think its a good thing to use to determine pregnancy..but to help out with ovulation! Take care!
