Hope you start feeling better soon. Can't believe they still didn't give you an ultrasound though. As sam's mum said your doctor might not have only wanted them to check for pregnancy. Can you try going back to the doctors and getting referred for an ultrasound that way rather than A&E? xx

She wanted me to have a scan to see if I may have anything dodgy going on in there. If the doctor refers me for a scan, it takes 6-8 weeks before I can be scanned, which would be far too long to wait

That's just ridiculous =( Are you feeling any better today hon? Love your new Avatar btw, though didn't recognise it was you at first!

If the pain remains, go back to A&E and explain you're not leaving without the scan. There's a reason why the GP told you to get one, and if things don't look any better soon something needs to get done. We all know the NHS isn't gonna do something out of their own free will ... actually doing work for their money, nah uh.

I'm feeling no better, I feel really quite ill and it's now starting to hurt when I walk. Bad sign, right?

I'm so fed up. I'd go back to A&E but they make me feel so stupid and so small and would probably send me home telling me to wait for the antibiotics to kick in properly.

The NHS frickin sucks. And you'd think they'd be more inclined to doing something about it seeing as I'm staff wouldn't you?

You'd think so... That's just terrible.
I know how stupid the people in A&E can make you feel, but don't give in to them hon. If things get worse, you're completely entitled to the medical support. Don't stay at home in pain until things get so bad you can't walk anymore (been there, done that ... and they still treat you like crap). Maybe give the Out Of Hours a call, I've found that the Out Of Hours GP's over here can get a lot more done than A&E or the ordinary GP. Don't forget you've been on antibiotics for several days already, it's not like you just started taking it today.

Of course, if you feel things aren't too bad yet then wait it out. I just don't want you to wait too long and go through a whole lot more pain than you should =) Did you take another test this morning btw?

Thanks hun I may try that.

I'll see how it goes for the next couple of days. It is very painful but they've given me different antibiotics so I'll see how they go.

I haven't got any tests to test with yet.. got to wait for payday. I don't think I'm pregnant so much now.. although my bbs are soooo sore.. so am not too sure.
