Thanks everyone!
I didn't think he'd test me so early, I asked if I had to wait 12 months, and he said there is no point in trying for that long incase i'm not ovualting - that it would be a waste of time.
So if we don't get preg this month, i'll go see him (well, actually my other GP, I like her better) and find out for sure if i'm ovulating...if I am then it will just take time, but if i'm not then he will send me to a specialist to get me ovulating.
He seemed a little concerned that I said we've been using OPK's for the last few months, have been trying for nearly 6 months and having plenty of sex and still not preg - since we're quite young still.
He told us not to worry, that 6 months isn't that long, but went through procedures that we can do if i'm not ovulating, what causes infertility, then he went into IVF - I was like WHAT

He kind of spun me out a bit because he branched out to scenarious that we haven't even thought of ourselves!
Anyway, first things first, sperm count for DH, then blood tests to see if i'm ovulating - hopefully everything is fine and its just a time thing.
I was tested for endometriosis about 6 years ago, so I know that I don't have that - I gotta try not to worry I guess!
