Uterus


i always hear you girls talking about if ur uterus is low or high....How do you tell if it is low or high??

if it's low you can touch it easily in your vaginal canal, if its high you might have difficulty reaching it.

Do you mean you cervix? The uterus is inside, so please don't try to feel that!

If your cervix is high it is a good indication you are ovulating or about to x

haha, I figured you meant cervix! From what I know, your cervix is low and hard right after you're done menstruating, and then when you are ovulating, it is high and soft and "open" feeling. You need to insert your fingers into your vagina and push them far back into your vagina until you feel something harder (than normal vaginal insides), and that will be your cervix. Analyze the position. If its really hard for you to be able to touch your cervix, its probably high...whereas if you can feel it easily, its probably low. Good luck!

after you've ovulated if it remains high and soft (and sometimes slimy) then that can be a pregnancy indicator as well, though they recommend not to feel your cervix too frequently because of the risk of introducing germs or irritating the skin cos it's delicate
