clomid and ovulation

Can any one tell when will I ovulate . I am in cd9,took clomid from cd 2 to cd 6. please share your clomid experience

cant sharre mine with u yet hun as im still waitin2 av me cd21 tests do...i know ive low estrogen and will prob need clomid .... from wot ive read sometimes it can take a mth wothout O then start O mth after, or i think 9-11 days after ur last clomid tablet...maybe u shud ask in the other part ttc with assistance x x x

Hi there, the general rule of thumb is between 5 and 10 days since your last tablet. This is variable though. I always used OPK from 4 days after my last tablet to pinpoint LH surge. I would not recomend using OPKs before this as you may get a false positive. Good Luck xxxx

I just did round 1 of clomid and now I'm on cd 30 with still no ovulation recorded

I'm on the 3rd dose today of my first round of Clomid. Only side effects I've had was lower back ache and ovarian discomfort but that's about it and its been really mild. My blood work to check hormone levels came back normal so that's encouraging but we will see. As far as how soon afterwards do you ovulate... I think that depends on the woman as we are all different. My ob/gyn told me to BD every other day from day 10 to day 20. So hoping I'll actually ovulate this first time and manage to catch the egg but we'll see. I will keep you posted as I go along but you are a little farther along in this process than I am by a few days. Good luck!!

my experience with clomid wasn't to good i had 2 courses of 50mg and didn't ovulate then tried 100mg and again that didnt work either waiting to go to the fertility clinic on oct 14th.
