Bit confused- anyone have any advice?

Im new to this site but think its really amazing and better than some others that are similar!
Down to what Im confused about!
Basically I came off the pill for just over a month. I had a "normal" period and then went back on the pill a few days later. I know that your meant to go back on the pill the first day of your "natural" menstrual period to be protected straight away. I didnt- I went back on it 5 days later and so wasnt covered for another week although some websites say you arent covered for the whole month doing it like this.
Anyway. So the next period I had after being back on the pill was 6 days of spotting and Im also experiencing every pregnancy symptom going. The main one feeling SO sick...especially at the thought of eating lasange!
So I know that nobody can tell me if Im pregnant but is it more likely to be the pill making this happen because its tricking my body into thinking Im pregnant or is it more likely to be pregnancy?
Anyone have any experience of this before?
Thanks for anyone thats taken the time to read this and reply to me!
xx

hey, i'm sorry but i don't know the answer to this...i've been on pill in the past and stopped and started it but never experienced it making me feel sick about food...everyone's different though so that might not mean much!

your mind can also play tricks on you so don't start panicking or getting excited til you've done an hpt...you could do one now then if it's negative do one a week later just in case you've tested too early cos i'm guessing you wouldn't know when you may have conceived...

Yeah I know the rough dates but I just cant face doing a test incase it comes back negative. Now that I think there is a chance I dont want to be disappointed. But on the other hand I want to know if going through all the symptoms is worth it. If its just the pill it is so not worth it!

its important to know sooner rather than later as you need to make sure you take folic acid during first four weeks and need to get it registered with doctor if you are pregnant...

i know its not easy and that disappointment if its negative will be huge but there's not really too many other ideal options x
