help!!! advice needed

i was just emptying my bathroom bin and noticed that one of the opk's (the one on top the pile) had quite a clear second line!!!! yesterday when i did it i just looked it for about 1 or 2 mins and then threw it away coz i was so sure it was a

but now i'm wondering if it was a

- how long afterwards can a true result come up? should i test again? and if so how long should i wait before throwing it out? x

my tests have always come up within about 30sec's but even now on a positive from my mc in june i can still see the positive... id just test again hun and read what it says on the box and allow maybe an extra 2mins to make sure

I'd def test again, i think a result can show up to 5 mins after you do it!!

yay yay yay!!!! i did a test about an hour ago and then forgot all about it

remembered not long ago and when i checked it was a

I then used same urine to do another one-put my alarm to check after 5 mins and there was a VERY slight line on it!! i then checked after 8 mins and it was still there!!!! it is EXTREMELY slight but it is there? do u think this means i'm ovulating now or in a few days??

i seriously can't believe this is happening girls!! i am on CD48 and was getting really depressed that my

wasn't coming even tho i knew i def wasn't preggers!!!

i'll try post it up in the gallery but my camera is pretty crap! when do u think i'll be ovulating-had a temp dip yesterday and it was normal today.

also - in case i get my hopes up too much is it possible to get a

on an opk if ur not actually ovulating? xx

Hey! I know how your feeling.
I had the same thing last cycle. My cycle was on day 39, but then the

got me. I did a few tests, one was

& the second had a slight line.
I found it best to try to forget about it for a few days,( I know its hard) I was getting myself work up, not good on the body. Do another test in a few days

ok i put a thread up in the opk gallery-if u don't mind could some of u take a wee look and give me ur opinions-i'm shaking here!! don't wanna get worked up but i was so worried, i even made a dr's appt today coz i thought i wasn't gona o or get an af

Sorry to dampen your excitement babe but the line needs to be really dark and come up straight away (within about 5mins) to be classed as positive

(same principle as a pregnancy test) just keep testing for the next few days and hopefully you will see it get darker - you'll know what i mean when you see it happen for yourself

You might even wanna try testing twice a day just to make sure you dont miss the surge?

i used the kits from access diagnostics every day for a month and didnt get any lines. i might have got a vvvvvv faint one after seriously straining my eyes but nothing more. i would occasionally notice that the ones in the bin had shown up a darker line but i think after a 8-10 mins the test is then formalised and any change is invalid.
