Any girls from Northern Ireland??

Just wondering if there are any girls from N.I? I know there are a few somewhere!!

I was just hoping to ask a few questions about fertility clinics / waiting lists etc over here.

Feel free to pm me if you'd rather not post your whereabouts here.

I've just been referred to a specialist and have a thousand questions xx

Great!! I'll post some of my questions and if you can answer any of them or give any advice I'd really appreciate it.....

Ok, does anybody know what the waiting list is like for a first fertility app? Thought I had been referred almost 7 weeks ago, but it was only sent today

Secondly, how many private clinics are there in N.I? I could only find one in Belfast.

Although I've loads of questions I'll just ask one more.

What is the NHS waiting list like for IUI /IVF etc?

Thanks girls

Sorry to interupt, I am not in N.I., but have a good website you can look at. My friend recently had twins via IVF and I had another friend struggling ttc. The girl who had the twins recommended she look at this website and it was invaluable. It provided all our local clinics (it is nationwide) and the success rates. She decided to go private as the success rate was slightly higher and is now pg and due in Nov. I've had a quick look and there are 3 clinics in N.I. 2 in Belfast and 1 in Portadown, here is the link http://guide.hfea.gov.uk/guide/Default.aspx all the luck in the world...x.

No problem. I am in Mcr and the comparison results between hospitals were quite amazing. Worth doing research and that website seems to be the one to use as it isn't affiliated to anyone hence totally independant and also interesting to see the results on age too.

Good luck...x.
