I started to feel a bit groggy last night and today i've got a bit of a cold (sniffly, sneezy runny nose) My temps yesterday morn was 36.4 and this morn was 36.74 (as you can see by my chart) Do you think its gone up coz i feel a bit crappy or maybe because of O? xxx

Hi!

Im no expert, but I know that temps go up after ovulation, so if that is the case, you would have probably ovulated the day before the temp rise. Looking at your chart it seems that you are due ov and you have noted E on your CM - does that mean EWCM? - If so it sounds likely that you did ov.

Did you have any cramps etc around that time? Did you do any OPKs?

TO be honest I am not sure if it is a symptom or not.

We have been trying for our this month. The is due on the weekend......the weekend just gone I have been all blocked up. Thurs and Fri I couldn;t stop sneezing and had a continuously runny nose, then sat and sun I was all blocked up, but it didn't feel like a normal cold. It seemed to pass really quickly and just keeps alternating now between stuffy and not stuffy! I also have an on and off sore throat.
Lets hope it is a symptom.

I have also been feeling sick in the evenings the last couple of nights and have been heading to bed early but I am just blaming that on the "cold thing"!

Rinkydink: I haven't felt any cramps only lower back ache the other morn when i woke up. im not using opks as I got 4 positives ina row last month so we b'd and nothing so cant be bothered with them.
my temp went up this morn but i think its coz ive got a cold; wud that affect it? xx

The cold probably would affect it a little, but am not sure by how much (i guess it depends on how bad the cold is?)

A cold is an infection and infections can give you a slight rise in temperature, so that's a possibility. But not all infections give you a temp, so yes ov is another possibility!

I think its a bit early to say re chart, we've really got to see what happens over the next couple of days. Do you have short cycles usually (23 days ish)?

I wouldn't necessarily give up on the OPKs just because they didn't work in the past.
Are you using pre-seed? And then there's always the ole "gravity" move, keeping your lower half elevated for 20 minutes afterwards.

Thanks girls, theyre usually between 25-26 days; thats what i thought, it probably would affect it a little. Its not a bad cold, just a bit bunged up, then runny and sneezing today. xxx

Thanks jerseygirl, no i'm not using preseed, just temping and checking my cm. After I always put my legs in the air and bum elevated for about 15 mins, don't know if it helps! lol! xxx
